Hiya's,
New to the U-Boat, usually patrol the pacific lol
Got the missions mainly for it having patch/whatever you wanna call it
Well i need help with torpedo aiming, in my usual us class boat i usually suffer duds or near misses (thanks to ducimus :-P )
I am running op monsoon and its patches and visuals if it matters
Err back to my aiming ............
As i look to aim i generally ID the ship, then set angle to bow, now this has thrown me, the angle bow ship icon i assume its uppermost point is the bow of the ship i want to target ? so if i am in front of it at a 45 degree angle i would move the angle mark to roughly 2-30 o'clock (is this correct ??
Now the distance, i have a line across my scope, do i use this and level it with the sea or bottom of the ships hull i want to attack ?? and when i use the distance meter the faint line do i use this to top of front mast or the funnel/funnels ???
And obviously if i have the right distance checked a few times i can get the accurate speed reading
Just for the life of my i can't get any darn hits
If any kind soul could give me the heads-up on the bow angle and distance this would set me on my way to sinking some ships lol
Hope it makes sense
Many Thanks
