hello, we acknowledge their excellent work, we love this game here in Brazil. but .. based on the films of the genre as the boat. because there is not a helmsman on the submarine. is the two but not the ballast is the helmsman who would just behind the head of the boat in silent huter 3. hugs

I'm not sure what you mean but the helmsman qualification is one of the least beneficial to have in terms of crew ability.

I think he means there is actually no helmsman at all in the helm station in the control room. His place is empty :hmmm:

This has been the case in Sh3, and SH4-UBoats (Not in the US boats), but now SH5 seems to solve the problem and add him :up:

yapp. helmsman is not in place. normally the boat was driven from the conning tower. but only when surfaced. dived the helmsman had to be sitting next to the L.I., but is missing.

There was a third helm position up on the bridge, to the left of the UZO. That is why the compass and engine telegraph readout are there. Very handy when entering and leaving port.

And there was another one in the control tower, which was used by the attack helmsman during the final run on target.

right, but not present. sh3 had some of these major "logic" bugs. also the LI was not always standing in the main control room, next to the diving rudders. and after 4 years there was finally a workaround from DivingDuck, that let the two helmsman disappear while surfaced boat. cause they where only sitting on these rudders while dived service.
