This mod adds randomised messages to the 'ticker-tape' that runs at the bottom of the main loading screen in SH3.
This version needs to be used with 'GWX3 Cfg files for SH3 Commander' found at http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=147567
The mod is JSGME ready but must be installed in SH3 Commander. If you try and apply it to SH3 it will not work. Full details are contained in the Readme.
Huge thanks go to JScones. His SH3 Commander and JSGME utilities are probably the most powerful tools we have to improve SH3. I'm only just starting to learn some of the capabilities that he has worked into SH3 Commander and look forward to using (and abusing) them for more mods. Plus, he once again pointed me in the right direction when I screwed up the test version of this mod! Thank you, Jaesen.

Cool! I'll look at the files and see if I can use it and my Random Loading Screens at the same time (don't see why it wouldn't work).
Thanks for another great idea for SH3 Commander!:salute:
[edit] Quick question: How come it takes me to Subsim's Download page, but when I click 'Download' I get redirected to a FileFront page? The whole point of having a download section here is to avoid having to deal with somebody else.
Just wonderin'.

I've used a completely different method to your mod - saved me a load of time and as I'm adjusting rather than adding files our mods are 100% compatible.
If anyone out there would like me to replicate this for other supermods (WAC, NYGM etc.) then please PM.

I had a few problems with my additional ships mods as they wouldn't upload to SS - I think the files were too big. I just got into the habit of linking to FF rather than uploading the mod.

WB, I have used filezilla to upload my files, some of which have been quite large (579Mb).
Of interest, I have had over 1000 downloads of my mods, here and elsewhere, and have received no comments or feedback.

That's usually a good sign! When a mod goes wrong the community will soon let you know about it but the good mods sometimes get little comment. My original Mission Orders mod had over 1500 downloads and around thirty comments so I knew it was working.

Downloaded it, looked at it and saw that you had tied it into the 'Randomized Events' strings. Of course since it's just text files I should have thought of that. I've already installed it, and I love it!

That's likely the problem. This board has its own storage for really big files. Neal can help you with that directly, or Laufen zum Ziel has a standing offer to upload the big ones. He's done a few for me, since I don't have direct access from the computer I'm using.
