I would like to join the TSWSM team.
Nice present Karle, thanks.
And a happy christmas to you.
Interesting design. 2 turrets forward and one amidships. But what's all that space on the after deck for?
Haven't seen something like that before.
A WWI design?

Merry Christmas. The ship is the G3 class Battlecruiser cancelled in 1921 becouse of the Washington naval treaty. The empty space at the stern of is for anti aircraft batteries and secondary guns.

Good stuff.
Just had a quick look on Wiki.
Found some interesting points.
'Had the G3s been completed to their design specifications, the Royal Navy would have possessed a quartet of warships roughly equivalent, given suitable modernization, to the USS Iowa and British Lion class battleships designed twenty years later.'
'Many of the aspects of their design ultimately were incorporated into the two Nelson class battleships, and the latter design is often described as being a cut-down G3.'
Now that it has been pointed out to me, I can see the resemblance to the Nelson.
Good work mate.

I am pondering on the idea of the N3 Class Battleship. Nine 18 inch guns and practictly the same design as the G3.

Gotta love those ships! The 'aft' turret was badly placed, but it made the ship look so cool!
Your model looks great, but I noticed one possible problem (hard to tell from your screenshot): are the funnels on your model the same size? In the drawings the after funnel is a bit bigger than the foreward one.

The funnels are the same size since I used the funnel from the Nelson.
Is admiral hipper a playable ship for the OM? I cant find her in the start menu.:hmmm:
Nice ships BTW.

I just did a "code" review of this mod and found that the changes to the files in the UPCDataGE directory break "stock" OM. It will also "break" OMEGU and Admiral Scheer for OM.

Your changes to the the Flotillas.upc and PatrolObjectives.upc are "unacceptable" as they remove Type IXB/C, Type VIIB/C and Type IID from a number of Flotillas and change to basic content of my work.

what is the point in updating american warships? I only see Japanese ships when I play a mission. Any suggestions as I appear to be lost at sea?

The Alaska will not be easy to make. I am currently working on the Lexington class battlecruiser and I am uploading an updated Colorado.

The Alaska was even a proposal! The construction of the Lexington sounds great!

I am trying to figure out playable ships. Is the point that you play by commanding a playable ship rather than a submarine? So you float around in a playable U. S. warship, using all of its heavy guns to decimate the enemy targets? (Pardon my elementary inquiries, but I have only played a Japanese Fuso, and that did not work out too well.)

Mid Ship turrents were a disaster in many navies and fleets. The blast damage often caused more harm to own ship than enemy units, and the vibration affected optical sights and intrumsents in the control areas severely. Some of the most extreme examples of WWI did not teach the lesson but the cut backs in the fleet plannig avoided some disasters.

Been finally agreed that the O-class is not implemented by you? Or is it still planned?

I was planning to modify the original Scharnhorst to a design more like the O class, but never got the time becouse of other projects.
