...sorry to bother you all with a slightly off-topic post. But the ChumbalumSoft forum is locked from registration (probably have to register/buy before they let you ask questions).

I'm playing around with milkshape and it seems really good, I'll probably register it at the end of 30 days. I downloaded the helpfiles but I don't know what directory to put the helpfiles in so that I can access them from the help/info buttons in the applicaiton. I tried putting them in the root milkshape folder but when I click the help button it says it can't find them and just asks if I want to D/L them.

I thought maybe someone here in the mod forum might be more familiar with the program and could give advice.

...and while I'm at it, anyone know how to change the default color of the vertices to be something other than white? I'm having trouble tracing an image that has a white background, I can't see where the vertices are on the edges.

I almost figured it out, I had the HTML version instead of the CHM version.

Now I can see the TOC, but the content says it fails to locate the URL. Any ideas?

Both the HTML and CHM version work for me. Sorry if I misunderstood your question.

Thanks for the link... yeah I got the files, just having trouble making the CHM version work when I install it to the milkshape root directory. It does seem to work on my laptop. I still can't make it work on my vista64 pc though.

Not a huge issue, it's such a simple little program, I pretty much have it figured out now.
