I finally got the idea in my head "GWX has run its course I guess, they all did amazing things, and I really played the heck out of their mod, but maybe I sould move on..." So I looked around a bit and decided to try WAC v4.1. I mean, whats not to love, great athetics, new ships, new skins, a nice fresh sh3 experience. Well i installed it and all was well untill... I FOUND THAT THE PERISCOPES WERE BACKWARDS!!!!!! I though, what? this can;t be? but its true my friends, and i'm sure I'm not the only to notice it!

I'll elaborate; when I clicked on the obs periscope in the command room, it took me to the periscope that is located in the center of the con! and when I selected the attack periscope in the con, it took me to the obs periscope far to the bow of the periscope's position in the fore-con! needless to say, I was a little peeved. but really I'm just nit-picking.

Anyway, WAC is a great mod from what i've seen of it so far, all is simply amazing! But really guys, whats up? :shifty:

I guess what i mean is, the obs periscope in the sub takes me to the attack periscope outside, and visa versa.

Just being a winer though, it really is a great mod! :salute:

well, if 77 people have seen this, and nobody has said anything like "already taken care of' or "I just ignore that" I suppose I'm just doomed to live with it... :shifty:

Ah well, still a great mod!

I suppose that if you don't use the external views a lot, then this odd error may go unnoticed.

Hadn't seen it myself until you mentioned it.

Have tried switching the key commands for the peris in Commands_en_cfg but this doesn't completely rectify the problem. The correct periscope now extends in external view but the internal view through the scope is still wrong :damn:

Might have a look in the camera dat file if I can pluck up enough courage but I'm hoping someone knowledgable can come up with a complete solution.

BTW: I think this sort of stuff would probably be better off posted in the WAC 4.1 Sticky thread.
