Name of Audio File - Cheering - "We've hit her..."

SH4 1.4 with MODs.

Am having trouble finding this audio file; when a torpedo hits a ship the cheering, etc from "Das Boot" / "The Boat" sound clip plays;
"Torpedo impact.... We hit her! We hit her!.........'
So sick of that cheer already!
I have not being able to find it in SH4 data sound or in my MODs folder yet.
I want to leave the "Torpedo impact" bit and shut the cheering up.
The repeat cheering etc sound clip is damn annoying with multiple torpedo hits!

Also what is the audio file name of the periscope rotation clicks?
I want to silence that too.
I just edit these in wavepad to play silence.

Found the "We hit her!" audio files.
On my gaming hard disk I didn't have an .ogg file player so those files were a mystery at the time.
Not use to playing .ogg audio files.
I used the free VLC media player to play them.
The files I was looking for are called,
"ChE_K_Torpedo_impact"
"ChE_P_Torpedo_impact".
"ChE_S_Torpedo_impact".
They are in the speech folder in SH4 and they may also be in the MODs folder if you have the Poul-Sound mod installed.

(In addition; am curious why there are so many speech folders with the same files in them? - speech 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 ?)

Now, only need to know what audio file is used for the periscope rotation clicks to silence it.

you have 9 folders because it gives you 9 voices so they are random anbd different and not the same voice every time you play

its done so each crew member can sound different

each folder has 3 versions of the same sound:

"ChE_K_Torpedo_impact" - normal voice (K)
"ChE_P_Torpedo_impact" - panic voice (P)
"ChE_S_Torpedo_impact" - silent running quiet voice (S)


your windows media player will play all ogg and wav audio files for you

I assume you're talking about U-boats even though this is in the Fleet Boats forum, since you mention Das Boot.

The name of the cheering file is, I think, 'ChE_Torpedo Impact' In my DBSM folder I've included alternate files without the cheers, because I got tired of them too.

I also included an alternate depth charge file, as Hinrich yelling "Wasserbomb!" every time also gets old. In SH3 I used Commander to randomize those files, so sometimes you hear them and sometimes you don't. That of course doesn't work with SH4, but you can change some of the files in the Speech folders and juggle them by changing out the Chief.
