Fellow Kaleuns,
I have been searching high and low for mods that are compatible with the stock version of this game, however most mods seem only to be compatible with the awesome GWX, (not sure if they are backward compatible, ie compatible also with the stock), which i totally understand of course, and might i mention will be upgrading shortly to.
I am looking for sound and graphics mods, in particular for the crew and the interface screens, ie dials, maps and such, crew icons and uniforms, and new and improved sounds.
I did have the ambient sound mod and also some crew icons too recently however had to re-install SH3 after an issue so am starting afresh.
I know i'm behind the times with playing the stock still, however plan to have multiple installs, with a stock and also the GW mod which i cannot wait to enjoy.

P.S. A lot of the links are dead in threads, which makes it difficult too. I am currently sifting through the downloads section.
