Question about a reinstall and saved career [Archive]

Hello,
I am running SH3 with SH3 Commander and GWX3, all the lates versions as well as using JSGME. I can start the game with SH3 Commander load the saved career, and when it gets to the "Not so long ago..." and the command room begins to appear, it crashes saying there was a problem with sh3.exe. I tried to start without SH3 Commander and it did the same thing. I am wondering if I can save my career if I need to reinstall everything? What do I need to save? Where is it? etc.

P.S. If i cannot save it...that's just crap, I just hit an unescorted battleship and battlecruiser.:damn:

did you add or remove any mods before rolling back commander??

this does cause crashes like this:damn:

Think that may have happened. I have uninstalled for now, going to reinstall and start over. I have S3 and Personnel FIles folder for the campaign yet. So maybe if I reinstall everything it will start.

Your game saves are usually located in C\MyDocs.....my advice would be to delete this folder if you intend reinstalling the game.

Same happens to me just before Not so long ago!
