how to download, and add submarines to the Game

hello all,

my name is Joseph and im new here to the SubSim radio room site. i wanted to get an understanding of how to add other Subs to SH4, and how to download them?. once again im new here.

Hello and welcome! Downloading is really simple, in fact. Search this forum for new submarines. Personally I'd recommend you subs from Silverwolf ( Blackwolf, Shark ), not really historically accurate but lots of fun. The GUPPY is in progress, from Sledgehammer, and there is also nuclear submarines.

Installing them is also easy as pie. Download JSGME, which is somewhere in this section. It already contains a README file which explains you how to install further mods to your game. Most mods here are compatible with JSGME but not all of them. Those who are not compatible usually contains a file that explain you how to install manually. If not, instructions are added on the post.

where can i find the silverwolf subs, and blackwolf.

Usually, they are littered among the sub forum (no pun intended)

just find the search tab across the top of the page and look up Blackwolf,
GUPPY, or Shark or whatever your mind sees fit to look for :DL
