View Full Version : How can I fix eyes disappeared?

Thats my question for today... :06:

I have tested the only one patch I have found here about it, without results. From here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=149948&highlight=eyes+patch

It's not working here. With 1.5 stock I had eyes in command room but not on bridge.

Now, with OpsMonsum mod (RFB, RSRDC and OM installed in correct order through JGSME) I have lost the command room eyes too... :down:

Could anyone give me a link or idea to fix that? It's killing my inmmersion.

Others can correct me about this, but I don't think there is a fix for it and I don't think it is caused by mods. This problem comes and goes. Go to a different position (map, bridge, external view, etc) and come back. The problem usually goes away.

Oh mate, I can't believe that.. With the wonderful mods and hard work put in this game from Subsim Mod Community and this bug cannot be fixed... Ouch.

In your OpMonsun campaign are you using the Type II? If so I always have no eyes in Command room with that sub. If you move to a VII or something else, you should be back to having eyes in the Command Room, but not the bridge.

check if you have installed the eye patch correctly,
it's \MODS\Eye Patch for RFB

check if you have a marine2.dat in
\Data\Library\Characters
-if yes, remove

check if eyes work for fleetboats

what graphic card do you have?

its related to your video card, there is a mod that fixes it for some but it depends on your card.

i didnt have the eye bug but when i tried using the eye bug fix it GAVE ME the bug so its not one solution for all but you must find what works for your video card.

make sure you have the very latest drivers installed for your video card before you begin trying to fix your eye problems :up:

My VGA card is a Nvidia GTX295 with 181.22 drivers (latest are worse for me).

And I installed correctly the eyes patch (RFB version).

Yes, commanding a IIC now. I will check in other ubootes.
