On the loading screens, which the vast majority of us do know how to change the picture. How does one change the red color bar that show the progression of the menu loading or when waiting for a map to load?
I am in refercing the long bar at the center/bottom that show the game loading. The center color is red and I would like to change that.
I did at one point thought that I had it with these file's, all of which are located here..Data\Menu\Loading
However, I changed the little blocks that showed red to another color and when starting the game... I still got the "red bar" Is it an ini or cfg file?

i think its generated by the game based on a color code and not in a file you can edit the color in because i couldnt find any image files with that blood red color, or any red color for that matter.
i looked at it once (found in the menu_1024_768 file) and found three places showing the "Bkgr Tooltip Loading bar" but changing the image file in the pathway listed there but it had no effect on the loading bar color. i also tried changing the color code line under the "Bkgr Tooltip Loading bar" but that also had no effect.
but i probably wasnt looking in the right place because that was called the tooltip loading bar, but it was the only thing labeled as a loading bar that i could find.

Thanks for replying, I still have not figured that out. However, in the files I listed above if you were to zoom in on them in paintshop, below the area the bar is suppose to be, there is a little block of red. As stated I changed that but no affect.
Also, just to see what would I happen I did remove the image loading file and the red bar still showed up, so it has to be some where.
Well I think I am going to deep six this one for now. I am working on some awesome mods.:salute:

as far as i am aware of it, most all of the stuff that decides what size it is and where to put stuff on the screen is connected to the menu_1024_768 file.
its probably in some out of the way location with some name thats not easy to recognise and thats why its tricky to find.
a few years ago i read through the menu_1024_768 file till i was crosseyed because i wanted to change it to a brighter red but gave up looking for it. im sure its there somewhere and someone will find it one day.
