I like Das Boot movie very much so I done this:

Small things but nice for the eye. I have also a small problem because I don't know author of the SH3 logo? And did I must have permission from Wolfgang Petersen for using this picture?:06:

You can download it from here, from this topic if You like [save image, and convert to TGA] This poster is also on the cover of my VHS tape from early 90's. DVD version of the "Das Boot" movie in Poland has many bugs, like bad translation etc.:dead:

Nice! I haven't seen it since summer 1992 or 1993! It was the first version of Das Boot in VHS. They had sunk only one ship in that version!

Now all screens looks better. If someone think that the contrast is too low always can change this in photoshop.:ping: Personally I use Nvidia contrast set up to 77%.:smug:

Hi evan82,

one hint:
since stock SH3 there're some little faults in startcampaign.tga:

1) 'Oberkomando' is a typo. Correct is 'Oberkommando'.
2) The word 'COMMANDER' [stamp] isn't used in german. Better is 'KOMMANDEUR'.
3) the stamp is on top of the clip.

Sailor Steve did an awesome loading screen mod a while back - it was enabled through SH3 Commander and randomised the loading screens so you got a different one each time. It was a godsend when testing as I spent hours looking at the load screen!

If you put evan82's loading screens in the same format and you'll get even more choice!

I'm sure Sailor Steve will be along soon to tell us where he's hidden it...

Now all screens have better contrast, but this always can be changed in the Photoshop for example if someone like stronger contrast. Everyone also shall to find some new screens inside my file. Not much, but always new:DL.

If you use it, it's fairly easy to add evan82's screens by simply going through all the files and finding one you don't like as much, then replacing it with the new one. Of course this means that it will only come up once in a great while, but...

Anyway, I'm downloading these and will be adding them to my personal set, just 'cause they're cool!:rock:
