Ati2dvag?

On trying to start up my PC I got a blue screen telling me that it was shutting down to protect windows and that it was caught in a loop,something to do with ati2dvag?:06: Looked on the net and it appears to only afflict Ati cards and comes with various suggestions on how to deal with it:hmmm:
Has anybody on here had or heard of such a problem:06: And if so,how did you deal with it:06: I'm at a complete loss as to what to do:oops::wah::06::nope: Any help would be greatly appreciated:yep:

Hi, searching a bit I found several guys w/ same error, but worked out like this:


Get the last ATI drivers here:
http://ati.amd.com/support/radeonx-xp.html
(don't install yet)

Uninstall ATI driver from control panel
(ATi Display Driver)

When you re-start just cancel the message from "new Hardware found"

Download CCleaner from here:
http://www.ccleaner.com/download/downloading
and install and run to clean completely ATi registry

Install the new, fresh Drivers



Should be fixed by now :yep:

p.s: maybe you need to get the monitor driver too
