hello,
it was once a guy who had posted a very good method of how to calculate the false when using the fixed-wired method to get the speed and OUR sub is moving (he had post a method that wasn't needed to had the target at 0 degrees when we are moving)
but i can't find it ....if anyone remembers that post ,please...shoot !

thank you

I don't remember which post or person you mean. But the difference between measured and correct targetspeed is:

(EDIT: sorry, brainfart, wrong formula)

sin(periscope_angle_to_bow_or_aft)*Uboat_speed

So, if it's a Sine calculation it can be calculated with the slide ruler OLC & Joegrundman added to the game? :hmmm::D

yes, in that post that i am looking for, this guy had talked about a method using the u-jagd tools (but i am not 100% sure).i remember that i liked very much his method and i had the intention to study his method later and i .....forgot where i have seen that post!
it will be nice if that post is....at last found !

Any idea WHEN you read it? Helps to narrow the search.
