targeting

i dug out my copy of SC and i cant seem to target any ships. i go to the weapons screen and for example, select M-01, but then i pick a weapon and i get no way to change the settings and the wapon wont fire. and the manual doesnt seem to be of any help. is there a short step by step that ican get hold of?

Ok it has been a while since I played but Make sure if you are attempting to set your weapons presets make sure the auto crew is turned off. Also if memory serves me right make sure you or the crew classifies the target as a hostile whether it be surface or submerged. Try those and see if it works out for you.:salute:
