Hi,

It's my first time posting in the SH4 section. I haven't played SH4 for quite some time due to instability. I resently started playing SH3 GWX3 again and decided to stick SH4, patch it and see how it runs. Not a single CTD the whole day, so figured it's mod time.

I have SH4 patched to 1.4. Unfrtunately I was unable to find a d/l for 1.5. Thus, I have downled RFB for 1.4, rather 1.5 and am unable to find the corresponding version for RSRD. If a link to either the 1.5 patch or a link for the previous version of RSRD can be provided, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. Which other mods would you folks recommend? I have got 3000y ring and US medals. Wondered if there is anything that might lend a hand with immersion and manual plotting and targeting?

At the top right of this page you'll find the link for Direct2Drive. Click the link. It'll take you to a page where you could order SH4, but on the right hand side of the page you'll find the 1.5 U Boat missions;) It's a $9.95 D/L.

I see. So no way around getting RSRD other than getting the expac so I can update to 1.5? Isn't there an archive that might contain the previous versions? Spending 10USD (taking exchange rates into regard) this late into the month is not a viable option for me atm. Also, since I do have SH3 one may understand my reluctance to get the expac, when I wish to play the fleet boats. I hoped previous version would be available, since there was one for RFB. Would the latest RSRD not function under 1.4?

Please excuse me if I sound cheap, but taking current times into account (not much moolah to go around) and the fact that bandwidth is quite expensive in this sunny little southern corner of africa, I was merely looking for an alternative, other than purchasing the expac. It is on my shopping list, just not now.

Thanks in advance.

You can't download it outside of North America anyway.

I bought it from eBay, and then found somewhere to download it while I waited for my copy to arrive. That seemed to work for me.
