I'm busy losing my marbles here :damn:
I would like to get rid of this image on the attack map as well as the normal Nav map. I've seen this image somewhere, but you think I can find it when I need to.. HEEELLLP. I am just going to blank out the alpha channel to get rid of it.
This is from the stock game

Thanks for any help

im pretty sure its just the NSS_Balao_shp image file that does it
open all the sub files and change the _shp files out to the generic black spot one useed for all of the new added ships for the game and just rename one for each sub

OK.. thanks Web.. that got rid of the attack map icon..
The next problem is the 'tail' which still exists in the normal map..
I thought that it might be the 'Fade.dds' file but no luck here..
I'll scour the folders but if anyone has a shortcut... :D:D
:yeah:

Sorry to be a bother...
I cannot find this image.. it looks like a tail section or wake, which rotates behind the sub.

Another thought is that it might be in the config files. ???
Anybody have any ideas

try rockin robbbins
i think he did or maybe undid the tmo plot mod so he may know where that one is
i know he sent me a PM about adding tmo plot to GFO and there was a mod to undo it i could use as a patch but maybe it was someone elses mod. i just felt i didnt want to change the plotting in GFO

There are two files, contline.dds and dashline.dds, in the \data\menu\gui directory. Copy those two files from TMO and you'll have it.

Thanks :yeah:
I'd thought those lines were for course plotting only.
