Is there a mod for SH3 that allows you to display on the side of the bow of
uboot the submarine's name as in this photo?

Only way I know of is to create a skin for the boat you want that name on. No mods around that let you do it automagically tho.

unfortunately I believe that there is not a solution :nope:
I tried to write the name on the skin but on the right side I see for example DESGA while on the left side AGSED :damn:
It would have been nice to see the sub as in this photo

No, prob's ... Create 2 new mesh patch ...
Textured its by "Name" texture ... and position them on corresponding places ...

Yeah, but you can always think that after all, during wartime the names were removed :D

Are you sure? I have some photo of my grandfather during the war and the photoes show the italian names on the submarines!
The big photo that i put in this tread shows the submarine of my grandfather you can read on the side ANFITRITE!

Since the text is reversed on the other side
RADAR would work on both sides of the sub :)

After 3 months I return oj this topic to say that now the name on Uboot will be visible and in the all two sides!! but I must ask you a question ...Now I m writing on the side the name ADUA this is no problem I have GIMP2.0 and I can do it, but the problem on the game is that this name have not hight resolution so when we are very very near on sub we see this effect and I don't know why Do you know the solution?A friend told me "make a name with hight resolution and then past it on the TGA of sub but I don't know the way to make the name in hight resolution !:wah::wah::wah:
