Can someone please point me in the right direction to figure out what DDS file to alter to add battleflags? I am driving a Gar - and of course there is no DDS tower file for a Gar - so can someone tell me specifically which file to modify?

Hi Akula4745!
If I remember correctly :hmm2: - Gar is used Tambor's textures:
\Data\Textures\TNormal\tex\NSS_TamborTower_T01.dds - early war
\Data\Textures\TNormal\tex\NSS_TamborTower_T02.dds - late war
Just try it.. ;)
So the late war textures are saved in the ...02.dds files ? And they are used from which date on in the game ? And why didn't I learn that ealier ? ^^

T01 - Texture (early war)
T02 - Texture (late war)
O0x - Occlusion map
sometimes you can find files: [xxx]_T01_lr - (Low-Resolution) these files are used, if in game graphics settings you don't check option "Texture Quality High".
And they are used from which date on in the game ?
ichso, Perhaps I am wrong -I do not remember exactly, but in my opinion it is somewhere here:\Data\Roster\American\Submarine\

The early war - late war difference had me looking in the wrong place... and I knew something wasn't right because my (early war) hull is dark - not the lighter grey I was seeing in the DDS file. Now I know! Had a couple of sizing issues at first... but I am always open to feedback... too big, too small, too far front/back?

Thanks tei. I already knew about the meaning of the T and lr but always wondered about those 01/02 suffixes.

I have never changed these settings, but may be it's useful for you.

Thanks again, tei.... I set it up that way and did not notice the game had flipped it. Even my small merchant pennants were pointing in the wrong direction. Thanks for pointing it out.
