Hey guys,

Just recently reinstalled SH4 as i read about some of the great Atlantic mods here. Just don't really care for the whole USA/Japan conflict in terms of submarine deployment. :smug:

So, i downloaded and installed OpsMonsun705. Works very good, almost no issues at all, except for one giant problem.

My North Sea is 20m deep, everywhere i go.:-? I get runover by destroyers constantly, cannot crash dive without almost immediatly reaching the bottom, and periscope depth is achieved to slow to evade airplanes. So i can only engage all airplanes, and hope that my deck watch spots destroyers way before they discover us, so i have enough time to go periscope depth. :nope:

Is this normal for OpsMonsun? I couldn't find anything about it in the readme. It certainly is not normal in real life;

Can i edit the sea depths anywhere? Config files maybe? Not really accustomed with the editing of SH4 :oops:

http://www.worldatlas.com/text/dotclear.gif In the southern areas the North Sea's depth is less than 150 ft (50 m), but in the north it slopes down to about 600 ft (200 m).

So, you are saying the entire North Sea is 20m? First time in 2 years anyone has mentioned this:hmmm: As you can see, the southern portion is about 50m. Where are you patrolling?

I'm certainly not seeing that with the Fdu norway campaign. :)

Well, what can you say? That North Sea IS shallow? Lucky thing is, we don't have to do this in real life, like many had to... :hmmm:
