Hi Guys
I have RFB working great now, but have a sound glitch, and wondered if anyone else has it, or knows how to fix it?
When clicking on either the range to target button, or nearest visual contact button, I hear Yes Sir three times rather than just once!
Here is my jsgme layout-

Ah HA- so at least I am not alone!
TMO proved a bit difficult for me as the enemy were very alert!
Cheers!
Sometimes I get it after activating "Battle Stations". Also useing RFB. No biggie:nope:

If I remember right, there was a thread about this a while back... the assumption was that at battlestations, you've got three officers reporting back, so they all go "Yes Sir", politely taking turns. *shrug*

Thats a new one on me for sure!
Or there is an echo more likely, but a very annoying one!:salute:
Hi Guys, read this post and thought Id put my 2 cents in. I believe if a sound wav is to long, over 10 to 12 seconds, maybe longer, it could cause your problem. But the particular sound wave that is repeating itself, may not be at fault, it may be another one, and usually is. Now adding to the problem wavs such as (amb_Underwater and amb_SubmarineInterior wavs) don't seem to be the cause of this, so you'll have to hunt for which one it really is. Shorten it a little bit and see if that was the one. Wish I could be of more help. Indy

I believe you are right because no matter what mod I load (self made, TMO, FORTS, etc) the problem appears, maybe it is the # of officers assigned or the way we manipulate the stations, who knows? but one thing is for sure: It is darn annoying.
Now if any of you know how to make the surface ship alarm to go off after someone attacks you, tell me please and you will be my hero.
:yeah:
The only work around I have found is to delete the wav file to shut it up.

I just wish my crew would not shout.
Evidently there was no shouting in real life
Conning towers were quiet. They were cramped with equipment and people, so there was no need to shout.

Long time ago, we discovered the name for the US version of Bernard. His name is Lt Lunkhead
