RSRD question

In stock you had US airfields at Midway, Pearl and other places. Not sure if it's TMO or RSRD, but no airfields or air traffic near bases. Were these taken out? Loaded stock game to look at some things and noticed it.

what you do is open the campaign folder and find the "Jap_AirCover" and "US_AirCover" and use mission editor to open them so you can see what and where everything is. you cant use mission editor to change things but its good for seeing it. to make changes you have to manually change things with windows notepad because the editor wont let you save changes since its looking for mission stuff and not game stuff.

compare the stock files to the mods files and you can see what they did.

1. The aircraft you see in "stock" are "scripted" and are part of US Harbor Traffic.mis and are "eye candy" for entering and leaving port

2. RSRDC does not use "scripted" aircraft around harbors. US aircraft are generated during combat operations only.

I did see some British/Australian Beufighters attacking Rabaul during a patrol..Very cool!
