Yes. havent messed with sh3 in a while. fire it up and started a patrol. (night time start.) and knotices the sky was extra black... next morening, this happend.:shifty:

So is ther a fix.:hmmm:

BTW im useing gwx 3.0, and mods not related to the scene.dat or env. files.

It kinda looks cool. You can mix and match environments. The EnvColors_* control the sea textures while the SkyColors_* control the sky texture.

The scene.dat is the file that controls wave height and to some degree how often the weather changes. No idea though why it would wig out after working alright without any changes being made.

I currently use the NYGM Scene.dat file with NYGN sea and GWX sky. I sometimes rotate at the start of a new patrol just for a change.

hmm... what enviornment mod to use.

I actualy knoticed it when i installed tomi's viid mod... after that. black skys.

Did you install/uninstall any mods without rolling back SH3C?

I had this in the past. Thought that it had to do with the GWX16km file
and you use another mod over it.
Uninstall that GWX16km and use the olc 16km.
That were my thoughts.

Today I got sick of the issue, and re instaled sh3. Problem fixed.:D

if you had slapped my V2 water mod in that would have stopped it :hmmm:

It comes from having mismatched Scene.dat and Sky and Env files. I just swapped different Scene.dat files until I found the one that worked.

I had this when i activated "Hunter's Moon Mod" in my JSGME a while ago .
I deactivated it again and all got back to normal . (GWX3.0 user)
