Huh?...The Navys looking a bit thin, eh lads ?

Hey all,

Right, i've spent about 3/4 hours desperately trying to find the relevant thing as to what im after, but am having no luck (yes i have tried the search bar at the top), so thought i post it on here, and hope one of you lot will be able to help me :06:.

Have recently come over to SH4 Patched to 1.5 with U-Boat missions add-on (at long last) from SH3 - GWX. But noticed something rather shocking...how come theres so few varients of units, I mean come on, just 4 types of American BB's, 3/4 types Destroyers ? I know for a fact there were more varients than that produced by the U.S. The same applies for other nations aswell in the Game. EXPECIALLY THE DUTCH NAVY ? WHERE THE HELL? -they were active participants in the Pacific theater with some big ships to play for i.e Tromp Light Cruiser, so how come theres not even a faction for them ?!.

Is there someone out there which has a link to a mod or something which includes further unit models for the game or additional factions ? - AI controlled only.

Any help would be greatly appricated,

Edit/ You wont se any dutch models in the pacific theater regardless what mod you use.
Operation monsun adds it to the atlantic theater but how much of it you will face, well i dont know.

As vikinger pointed out there are MODs. The reason there are so few US and other countries is simple, there were not needed. It was originally written as a US Fleet Boat vs. The Japanese Navy. You really needed the US subs and Japanese ships. So the US ships in the game were there for immersion factor only, you hardly ever see them. So they actually put in more ships then the really needed to. And when the Add on came along with uboats, it was written and priced as an "Add On" not a full game, so not a lot was added.
