Hellooo fellows: I reformatted my hard disc and reinstalled SH3, then went to install GWX 3. When I click on the exe file, it gives me a strange error, asking me to put in "disc 7"

What did I do?

Hi Kimmy,

What that means is that the installer cannot find .bin file #7. (The installer views the different .bin files as 'discs.'

All of your .bin files (and the installer/ .exe file) must be in the same location to be found and extracted by the installer.

Try re-downloading the #7 .bin file if you've misplaced it.;)

Afterwards, let us know if all is well... or if you need further help.

Place the seven bin files & the exe file on your desktop. That way when you run the exe file the contents of the bin files go to the right place.

Hi, normally it works so: remove everything of SH3 from your pc before installing GWX. I mean, search for SH3 folder (in which Silent Hunter saves the game) in Documents and erase that folder. Than install SH3 as normal, update it and install GWX3. It should work.

Oh, you mean Uncle Indy? ;) I guess that's because I work in show biz.

Thanks, men, for some reason, my bin7 was not in the folder, I rolling now!
