The SH3 Commander mod has the ability to change water density. You should be able to find a link to SH3 Commander in this forum. The option is titled water clarity. It can be set from 1 to 20 with 20 being the clearest. There are some other nice options you can set in this mod. See screen shot. Mod was done by JScones (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/member.php?u=216267). I checked and he has a link to the mod in a thread that is near the top of this forum.

Boiling it i should think would work. Reminds me of a scene in American Dad where Stan has to cook his own dinner...Stan: Here we go -- mac and cheese. (Reads box) "Boil water." What am I, a chemist?I love that show.
