View Full Version : WO Gone Stiff!
What the!! I was docking at Kiel after a patrol (sunk a battleship btw), I went to external view and the WO was stiff as a board, must have been frozen, so I removed him that was ok but when I put him back he was still stiff but his arms were out stretched, must have been Superman as his hands went streight through the conning tower, tried other officers but made no difference, he still blinks though!! Has this happened to anyone else or is this just a one of!!:hmmm:

Probably just shocked and stunned that he's got back from patrol in one piece :DL
More seriously: I have seen this in a few threads in the past but never found out if a fix/cure was found :hmmm:
I have seen this sort of thing before in a LAN link up game, a few of this same range, one was called "Deadly Dozen Pacific Theatre", once you killed a bot the joining player would see it standing there with both arms straight out!!:yep:
I happen to remember that would cure itself by diving and resurfacing :hmmm:
If that doesn't work, then repeat the manouver but leave him on the bridge during it :DL That's "turm-hauling" someone :haha:
I did actually dive and surface then placed the WO on the bridge but no change!:hmmm:
Wonder if it's a turm fault or something to do with the WO, other crew are fine!:yep:
BTW, I never restored from a save either, probably just a one of thing, will see on the next patrol.:-?

Nelsons Blood has always been the sailors choice (at least with the RN)

Long ago some people posted that all their bridge crew or all their control room crew would be like that. Apparently it's a default pose for the devs to dress them more easily, and ocassionally they get stuck that way. I've never had it happen myself, and have never read of it happening to just one man rather than all of them.
