Thank you for GWX team,some ships are take from GWX mod,thanks for VonDos,without his ship,then won't be a Italy Part,and thank you for privateer,who made some of the guns's 3d model.
I don't know who made the Bismarck and Tirpitz model I use,but that's great work.Thank you.
I hope I havn't lose anyone.
Special thanks Lord,a German who support me all the time,without him,I won't finish these German warships' datas so exact.
And my girlfriend,she is all my power...but I lost her...

Yes,I have,both Lord and one of my Chinese friend made one,but unfortunately,they all couldn't work well,so at last,I made one of myself instead.It won't be nice,just so so,hope you won't hate it.
The most bad news,I lost my girlfriend,I'm so sad...

I found a little bug. Flottenbegleiter has the moved point of aiming, for example in telescopic sight I have 3000m but cannon is firing on 7000m. I use version for SH3 1.4.

BTW: does your mod is compatible with the sh3 commander ?

I am waiting for other versions of your mod, you are doing a good job :up:

I unzipped the "WSM2.0GeDestroyersPartforGWX3.0\MODS" folder into the SHIII MODS folder and activated it with JSGME, but it still barely works.

None of the destroyers work in Single Missions, and even in Training and Career, the destroyers' guns won't work.

Can anyone help me out?

Well,1st,yes,I changed the firing range(for capital ships,as you know,in turn battle,battleships always fire at about 20KM),if you install 16km view mod,then everything would be clear in telescopic sight.
2nd,about sh3 commander,I'm sorry,I know nothing about that mod,could you tell me what it is:O:

I've downloaded your mod and It's fantastic! Keep up the good work!

Now, I've encountered some problems. I've downloaded "WSM2.0GeDestroyersPartfor0" for GWX 3.0. Mod. Tried to enable it with JSGME, but didn't worked(tried this way about 3 hours), so I copied files to SH3 root directory and it worked :).

Since my computer is below recommended SH3 requirements I' cant enable 16 km atmosphere(because CTD problems) . When I encounter another merchant ship, I try to aim to waterline but my cannon fires much higher than it supposed to fire, way atop the ship. Even when my crew shoots, every 10th (or so) hits the target. Also, tried pushing many buttons on my keyboard to drop the depth charges, but also didn't worked.
Also, i noticed that I' cant compress time over 256X because it becomes very laggy, and in one occasion, my ship traveled acros England's mainland. :rotfl:
I have copy of an old game, Destroyer command(Older members may remember this game :)). I'll take screenshots of stations so you can use it to your mod.
Anyhow, I hope my comments will help.

I have the same problem which Ceki has. I cannot use the 16km Mod because I have CTD. I have a problem with the moved point of aiming only in the Flottenbegleiter, in other warships not.

Sh 3 Commander ( http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=147237 ) is a little program which lets for changing the campaign's settings like for example a starting date, Uboot's number, type of the Uboot etc. Much different of settings. I wanted to use this program with your mod (I wanted start campaign in 1940 and to have type ixd2 -> type 1936 destroyer in your mod) but I cannot use cannon (dispatch about out of ammo).

You should place the files in the 'MODS' folder, thats the one JSGME reads for mods.

I put all of the destroyer folders into the MODS folder as you advised, but there is still no change. The deck guns still won't work and the destroyers still won't work in single missions.

1st,I notice your question in my test,too.Sometimes some part of my WSM couldn't work when install with JSGME.I don't know why,but it's ture that happened,I could just try to avoid this question as much as possible.
2nd,if you firing less than 2km as U-boat before in SH3,I think it would be better.For this question,I could just say,it's not possible for you to shoot exact in a long range.
3rd,the depth charges couldn't work now in this version,but I think it would work later,so did the mine.
4th,it's ture that it's more "laggy(I don't know this word,but I think I know what's its mean) " when using WSM than using U-boat,I'm sorry but I have no good idea on this.what I could say to you is:I'm very sorry,really.
5th,I played DC before,but it seems I couldn't accept its screen:-? That's also why I make warship mod of SH3(in fact,I also don't like SH4's screen).
6th,I would like to see your screenshots.

It seems...your question is just you havn't correct using my mod,so,please read the readme in documention translated by my German friend Lord(I couldn't give you a better readme in English...as my English isn't very well).

Chinese U-47 & lord,

You guys rock! I lost a lot of sleep last night replaying the Second Battle of Narvik (in campaign) in a Type 34, trying different tactics each time. All three times I went to the bottom, but what a rush. (I’m still trying to get a sense of how much damage is too much before I need to disengage and head for safe seas).

All three times it was raining and foggy by the time the battle happened. Lack of visibility created some challenges but also had some benefits. Using the radar, I was able to navigate around the main force, engaging individual destroyers in one-on-one combat. Unfortunately, with the fog, I often was right up on a destroyer before my crew spotted it and began engaging. If you’re moving too fast, you can easily find yourself broad siding big guns at point blank range. Nasty stuff!

The last time, I anchored on the south side of Vestfiord while waiting. When I saw the enemy task force enter the west side of the fiord on radar, I held my position until the German task force approached from the east. Once they were about three or four kilometers apart, I began skirting the southwest end of the fiord behind the enemy force. I then engaged several destroyers in the rear and on the south flank one-by-one. On one occasion, a DD and I found ourselves unintentionally playing chicken (we were weaving back and forth trying to avoid each other, but ended up on a zig-zag path right into one another). I ended up ramming and going over his stern. (I have the RCB effects mod activated--you should have seen the fireworks show, bodies flying, etc!)

Having sustained quite a bit of damage and unsure of how much I can take, I headed north as the enemy task force continued east-by-southeast trying to evade contact. By this time, the radar contacts are spread all around. The British task force had disintegrated in the fog and by being attacked on two sides. I could no longer tell what contacts were enemy versus friendly.

I was now skirting eastward along the north side of the fiord, trying to get back to Narvik, when I spotted a slow-moving ship burning in the near distance. Seeing a possible opportunity to finish off a weakened enemy, I approached fairly slow (about 8 knots), and then saw the distinctive silhouette of a battleship, HMS Warspite, burning through the fog. Unfortunately, I forgot to tell my gunners to cease fire and they opened up on the battleship, drawing very nasty attention to us. We quickly headed north at flank speed trying to avoid those big guns and the various radar contacts now heading in our direction.

We were moving fast, around 30 knots. By the time I noticed that we were heading dead into the path of an eastbound radar contact, my gunners were blasting away on a vessel. The vessel didn’t shoot back. Realizing that it was probably friendly, by the time I could turn off fire at will it was too late. I had mortally crippled a friendly Type 34. I watched it slowly drifting off, secondary explosions erupting, as it sank into the deep.

My initial impulse was to abandon the attack and head to port. I know we had sustained a lot of damage by this point. But the temptation was too much…a damaged, slow moving battleship. I circled around and plotted an interception course for a torpedo attack. By this time he was zigzagging, but slowly (less than 6 or 7 knots). I could see him burning in the distance. I slowed to a crawl and sat in wait, hoping the other DDs moving around wouldn’t find me first. Just as I saw him emerging from the fog, with less than 700 meters distance, I ordered my weapons officer to plot a solution. Tube One, fire. Tube Two, fire. Tube Three, fire. Tube Four, fire.

Just as I had fired off the fourth torpedo, he opened up. I quickly ordered flank, full right rudder trying to get out of there fast. Looking up, I saw the trails of the T-1s on their way dead for him. His big guns now illuminated the fog. We had just cleared his stern heading west at flank speed when the impacts started. Two hits out of four torpedoes.

If I could reach the west end of the fiord we could lay in wait for her to go down. I had just thought we made it clear, the battleship was starting to disappear in the fog, when a series of powerful explosions erupted on the rear of our bridge. My last view before the death screen was quickly turning around on the bridge and seeing an explosion, projected debris, and a man fly overboard.

That last battle took almost 90 minutes from the time the British task force entered the fiord.

1. Keep a close eye on your damage. If you’re using SH3 Commander, check your F7 screen for hull integrity after every engagement. (I didn’t have SH3 Commander activated during the last battle) If you reach less than 40%, head for port. Too risky.

2. If you start receiving damage reports fast when being hit, flank speed out of there now!

3. When engaging superior numbers, try to isolate the enemy. At least in a Type 34 or 36, you have superior firepower to many of the British DDs. However, you’re asking for trouble by engaging more than one at a time.

4. Watch your speed when approaching for attack. Its very easy to come in too fast. Ideal engagement distance seems to be about 2000-2500 meters in clear weather. At that distance, my gunnery seems to be more accurate than theirs. Come in too fast and you can easily end up less than 1000 meters before you can effectively flank left or right. At that range, their gunnery is much more accurate.

5. If you use manual targeting, use your weapons officer to plot torpedo solutions if in battle. In battle with warships, there’s often too much going on around you (and happening quickly) to get a good manual solution. Take your eye off the radar and binos too long and you’re dead.

6. Use unlimited fuel settings. I like generally like realistic game play, and use limited fuel, but the fuel settings for the modded warships are not accurate. I barely made it to Narvik from Wilhelmshaven with less than a quarter tank of fuel left.

7. If you are around neutrals or friendlies, be sure to turn off fire at will once you're done engeging an enemy vessel. I have had several accidents now as a result of this. (Man, a keyboard shortcut or quickly accessible button in the GUI would be very useful in this regard.)

8. Play with RCB’s effects mod. It seems fully compatible and gives some great effects. Surface warfare lends itself much more to those violent explosions, flying debris, and secondary effects. I wasn’t a fan of this mod when playing subs. But for surface warfare, its great! It really seems to contribute to the chaos and violence of surface fighting.

SOME IDEAS FOR THE MODDERS:

1. High res warship skins. The warship skins included with the mod are great, but I think skins with higher resolution would look much better. Plus, texture the area around the bridge with a bit more detail. Players spend a lot of time on the bridge and right now it looks rather simple and untextured.

2. The player ships feel somewhat overpowered compared to the British DDs. I use AI for gunnery and I seem to be much more accurate in general than the enemy. Decrease the reload times also if possible. I’m sure that the 150mms are reloading faster than 7 or 8 per minute.

3. Increase the fuel range a bit….maybe another 50-100% (accounting for SH3’s map-distance issues). At 15 knots (optimal speed in the game) I barely made it 3,000 km.

You guys rock! I lost a lot of sleep last night replaying the Second Battle of Narvik (in campaign) in a Type 34, trying different tactics each time. All three times I went to the bottom, but what a rush. (I’m still trying to get a sense of how much damage is too much before I need to disengage and head for safe seas).

All three times it was raining and foggy by the time the battle happened. Lack of visibility created some challenges but also had some benefits. Using the radar, I was able to navigate around the main force, engaging individual destroyers in one-on-one combat. Unfortunately, with the fog, I often was right up on a destroyer before my crew spotted it and began engaging. If you’re moving too fast, you can easily find yourself broad siding big guns at point blank range. Nasty stuff!

The last time, I anchored on the south side of Vestfiord while waiting. When I saw the enemy task force enter the west side of the fiord on radar, I held my position until the German task force approached from the east. Once they were about three or four kilometers apart, I began skirting the southwest end of the fiord behind the enemy force. I then engaged several destroyers in the rear and on the south flank one-by-one. On one occasion, a DD and I found ourselves unintentionally playing chicken (we were weaving back and forth trying to avoid each other, but ended up on a zig-zag path right into one another). I ended up ramming and going over his stern. (I have the RCB effects mod activated--you should have seen the fireworks show, bodies flying, etc!)

Having sustained quite a bit of damage and unsure of how much I can take, I headed north as the enemy task force continued east-by-southeast trying to evade contact. By this time, the radar contacts are spread all around. The British task force had disintegrated in the fog and by being attacked on two sides. I could no longer tell what contacts were enemy versus friendly.

I was now skirting eastward along the north side of the fiord, trying to get back to Narvik, when I spotted a slow-moving ship burning in the near distance. Seeing a possible opportunity to finish off a weakened enemy, I approached fairly slow (about 8 knots), and then saw the distinctive silhouette of a battleship, HMS Warspite, burning through the fog. Unfortunately, I forgot to tell my gunners to cease fire and they opened up on the battleship, drawing very nasty attention to us. We quickly headed north at flank speed trying to avoid those big guns and the various radar contacts now heading in our direction.

We were moving fast, around 30 knots. By the time I noticed that we were heading dead into the path of an eastbound radar contact, my gunners were blasting away on a vessel. The vessel didn’t shoot back. Realizing that it was probably friendly, by the time I could turn off fire at will it was too late. I had mortally crippled a friendly Type 34. I watched it slowly drifting off, secondary explosions erupting, as it sank into the deep.

My initial impulse was to abandon the attack and head to port. I know we had sustained a lot of damage by this point. But the temptation was too much…a damaged, slow moving battleship. I circled around and plotted an interception course for a torpedo attack. By this time he was zigzagging, but slowly (less than 6 or 7 knots). I could see him burning in the distance. I slowed to a crawl and sat in wait, hoping the other DDs moving around wouldn’t find me first. Just as I saw him emerging from the fog, with less than 700 meters distance, I ordered my weapons officer to plot a solution. Tube One, fire. Tube Two, fire. Tube Three, fire. Tube Four, fire.

Just as I had fired off the fourth torpedo, he opened up. I quickly ordered flank, full right rudder trying to get out of there fast. Looking up, I saw the trails of the T-1s on their way dead for him. His big guns now illuminated the fog. We had just cleared his stern heading west at flank speed when the impacts started. Two hits out of four torpedoes.

If I could reach the west end of the fiord we could lay in wait for her to go down. I had just thought we made it clear, the battleship was starting to disappear in the fog, when a series of powerful explosions erupted on the rear of our bridge. My last view before the death screen was quickly turning around on the bridge and seeing an explosion, projected debris, and a man fly overboard.

That last battle took almost 90 minutes from the time the British task force entered the fiord.

Not such a easy thing for me to read this great battle,but,you really did a great work!:up: I should say:you are a brave commander!You have tried your best:up:
In China a player try to fight this battle with Type 34 too,and unblieveable,he sunk Br BB with his 127mm gun,with all of his ammunition.And then,Br DDs found and sunk him soon.
In fact,I think destroyer is a good choice for players like U-Boat.It's not invincible(you maybe sunk by a enemy destroyer too),but it's also powerful and nimble.
Not like battleships,in stock you may soon found that you are invincible,no one could beat you:doh: I don't like that feeling.
But at last,most of players like BB/BC,or at least CA,hardy someone use DD...:shifty:

2,the datas of guns are the same as AI-guns,and,in fact,I made Br DD's guns,too,you can try to use 114mmDoubleTDG(copy this name) instead of your 127mm gun in basic.cfg,and then you can have feeling of Br DD.
Br guns are all very slow,at least they are really very slow in game.I test all guns in mod,I think US 127mm double gun is the best gun(for DD),and most of Br guns are really poor.

Sounds great. Truly excellent work! Two more things...

1. I noticed that the stormy weather values on your submarine file for the Type 1936A (IXD2) haven't been modified. If the weather gets rocky at all, the guns won't fire. (All the other files have been changed. I think this was somehow missed on the Type 1936A.)

2. If you do a custom GUI, think about adding some quickly accessible buttons for ordering crew to man guns, fire at will, and hold fire. Also, for those who like to manually plot solutions, it would be VERY useful to have the TDC controls available on the UZO screen. I'd also dim down the UZO graphics a bit, like in OLC. Another OLC item is the range-finding reticle in the UZO screen. It would be very useful to be able to estimate range on targets from the UZO.

First of all, many thanks for this great mod. I already loved the DDs but the battleship are realy fantastic.

Unfortunatly, I have a problem when playing as Scharnhorst.
The controllable turret is a little too small and too high and also the AI-turrets do not fire at the enemy.
I've tried an installation with JSGME and one without but nothing works.

Your mod is great :up:. I chose Lutzow Heavy Cruiser and I started campaign in October 1940. I sailed on the Irish Sea and the second day I sank 87000 BRT - I came across the convoy :arrgh!:. All ships were destroyed.

I still have one question. In the "clean" SH3 version I have sometimes random contacts on the map, but after the installation of your mod I haven't them. Is it possible somehow to include it?

And another small matter: in my opinion big warships should have the larger supply of cartridges for 37mm and 20mm cannons - 4000 it too little. After a few air-raids I am defenceless :(.

I think your problem is because you havn't install "IXB&IXC&IXD2" or "IXC&IXD2" in JSGME after you install a warship part.So my adv is that you'd better check it again.

1st,haha,good to see your hunting:sunny: next time you should find a task force.
2nd,that's because in warship the radio is damaged,so you get no radio to use.I'm still working on this problem.
3rd,in my WSM V1.0 every 37mm gun have 16000 ammo...and after I check the history datas I found that in really German warship every 37mm gun just have about 4000 ammo(someone even said they just have 2000).

BUT sh3 is a sub simulator and this mod make sh3 a simple arcade game.i mean that i don't see the point of traveling around with a destroyer and sink everything i meet.maybe there is the need of a real destroyer simulator to be developed . till then...

Unfortunately I didn't do screenshots, but I can show entries from the captain's deck diary from SH3 Commander. On the first patrol which lasted only 2 days I sank 21 ships (18 Merchants / 3 Warships), sum of all ships = 87128 BRT. On second which one day lasted longer I sank 30 ships (23 / 7) - 101846 BRT.

1st patrol (I have the polish version SH3 therefore there is a Polish-English mix)

There was nothing interesting to watching. Both convoys were defended only by 2 destroyers. It was a massacre:arrgh!:.

I still noticed one thing - enemy warships shots too high, even from the distance smaller than 1000m they aren't hitting me. Because of that the game is much too simple.

Tried Narvik a few more times...killed each time. Last time, under clear weather, only one of the other five destroyers protecting Narvik showed up. (I guess the others were beached owing to path issues.)

I was shredded faster than I could order Flank Speed and change course.

Chinese U-47: I'm looking forward to seeing your Italian ships mod! I have been working on an improved Med campaign for months now (with many more historical scripted battles). If you need a beta tester, let me know!

BTW...What Flotillas will be the base of operations for your Italian mod? I wonder if there's a way to make Taranto a u-boat base for the purpose of your mod.

Did you use the SH3 Commander? I also have a problem with cannons when I am using this program. Either my cannons haven't the ammunition or instead of correct cannons I have some other. For example - these are Scharnhorst and Tirpitz.

The issue with the Scharnhorst and Tirpitz guns is because you dont have the 'IXB&IXC&IXD2' mod installed above the certain pack. Just install them, and when JSGME gives the small warning that a certain file is already altered by the warship pack, just ignore it and install it.

When you wanna play with a different ship though, dont forget to uninstall it, or the guns will be messed up, like I had: A 11'' Scharnhorst gun on a Z36 Destroyer :P

I was looking for a GWX 3.0 version as well, and I also asked to Chinese U47, but no replies so far....
As far as I know, he was working on the GWX version, but met some problems with Italian ships and was trying to solve it....sicne Italian ships is the last of the mods....that makes me hope he has already prepared the other, but wants to release the complete package together as he did for the 1.4 version....but that's just my guess, driven by unpatient desire to lead the Bismarck revenge within GWX environment! :O:

I followed the readme attached to the DL and it works great for me.
Only thing I found was that I had to add loads of renown to play with the big boys from the start.
Worth it though, Bismark is one hell of a ship.
Clean SH3 install without Commander so far, although I hope that works.

I love this mod!:yeah:

I tried the cv / carrier which is in this mod and I thought that since it dosnt carry any torps - it might use those controls to launch planes (I was wrong). However - I found out that using the AA guns on it and "stripping" the enemy dd for guns was fun:D and seeing all those enemy planes fall from the sky as they heroicly tried to bomb me was fun aswell.:rock:

Is it possible to make the cv launch planes or is it something which is not "code-able" in SH3?

Well,I'm interesting to tell you some news.
In WSM2.0,one ship could have 13 guns fire except main deck gun(so you see,there are just a few flak guns on a big battleship.As I couldn't make more guns fire~some questions about cam file)...
Fine,here I'll try to explaine this,I hope you can understand what I'm talking about.
SH3 warship mod is more complicated than warship mod for SH4,that's why there are a dozen SH4 warship mod but just 1 S-Boat mod and my WSM for SH3.
The main difference between them is that in SH4,except the guns you can contrl(1 deck gun,and 1 flak gun,as most of the SH4 warship mod),other weapons just need you to write them in XXX.eqp text file,like ai ship,and they will work,also like ai ship,very easy.
But in SH3,if you just did this,these weapons won't fire at all.It's not hard to make a playable ship in SH3,but it's hard to make all of your guns fire,or at least most of your guns fire.Imagine a playable battleship with just 1 deck gun and 3 flak gun(as the U-Boat in SH3),it would be a catastrophe!
But that's enough for a S-Boat,so that's why there is a S-Boat mod.
So for SH3 playable warship mod,I need to make a lot of files connected to the weapon positons so they can work for player(it's not easy for me to explain this in English),and the weapons themselves should also be playable like U-Boat's weapons(in SH4,ai weapons also would work in player's ship),general speaking,in SH4,you need to do nothing to make weapons fire on your ship,but in SH3,you need to do a lot of work.
And that's not all,the connecte files you make guns fire must be different for different positions in 1 ship......And I just get 13 ways now,so there could be 13 weapons(except deck guns)work in 1 ship.
For most warship,that's enough,but for battleship,there maybe some "empty" positions,on these positions,guns won't fire,like what you saw.
It's so tired for me to explain so much in English......

And yesterday night,I finally worked out this main question,with a new way.Now no matter how many guns you have in one ship,I can make all of them fire.
The weapon upgrade system has also been changed.In old system,you can just change or add weapons in 1 positon(A01,A02,S01,S02,S03),but now,you can change the whole part,I mean:you can add or change light flak guns part,or heavy flak guns part,any parts like that.You'll change or add a dozen guns(or even more) to your ship in one time(we know,warships have more and more flak guns in wartime,in 1940 it may has 10 light flak guns,in 1942 with 40,and in 1944 maybe 80,so I mean you can add a lot of guns to your ship with 1 click).I hope I have make my word clear.
So,wait for WSM3.0.

Copy your install then-heck from what I understand you can make as many copies as you like, and install different mods on all of them, perhaps keeping one pristine in case of FUBAR moments in the others.

Hi Chinese U47,

Great mod, I love playing with all the surface ships its amazing!

I did some testing yesterday with my friend in multiplayer. Here are the results

1: Everything loads up fine with all ships in German pack 1 and 2

2: As long as you start in a mission where the sub is supposed to be surfaced you will have no problems being half underwater.

3: Is the problem....when you put your guns on fire at will they shoot at the closest ship including your friendly human player if he is the only one around.

4: When there were no other ships around except him and I and I clicked deck guns hold fire they would continue to shoot at him until I put the watch crew in.

5: Bismark has no ammo:P

Besides that it is an amazing mod and I love it!! Well done!!

the problem that your ship shoots to the nearest unit is a simple solution to be given a different objective, or downloaded from the crew working with the officer or WO
gunerman attacked by a specific type of unit, a problem with the ammunition to make sure that you have enabled the part IXB&IXC&IXD2 if flies pancernikami and if you have enough ammunition to much I can not help you because I do not know what file is responsible for example ammo.

Givet ago when I wanted to match SH3 mods warship to GWX 3.0 is the result of this was that in the main sections are only HE projectiles.
Yes sometimes it happens.

Good question... this is the reasan - as while as we in Flottenbasis are not able to integrate this fantastic mod in our online campaign.

It's really a prob fight in multiplayer together against the AI... even time there is no way to prevent Auto Fire "I'm shooting now my friend" bug!

I think - as while as we don't have the SDK - there will be no way to find a solution to fix this prob!:damn:

Because,time of WSM3.0 is beging.
Here is a test version,you can play it in any super mod,or V1.4 stock.
Go into the game and choose 1940,7th fleet,your IXC is BBStrasbourg.
Besides,anyone know who made this ship' 3d model?I want to talk to him.
To WSM2.0,in this new version all guns could fire(you may noticed that in WSM2.0,some guns won't shoot).And,some of guns will be developed as dual-purpose gun in the new vision (in BBStrasbourg,the 130mm guns are dual-purpose gun,that means,they can both shoot plane and ship).The most important improvement is:now you can repair your ship in F7,and you also can send or receive radio messages.
Maybe my word is not so clear,you'd better have a try by yourself.
And,Lord,in a complete WSM3.0 version,you can play well in Multiplayers.

Chinese U-47 do not mention it outside the WSM 3.0 beta is great now I can not wait to see the full version. Only problem that I noticed to leave the port because it is too large BBStrasbourg out of the start and simply does not fit but there are two solutions to this problem

1.dać full speed right away, the ship will be slightly damaged but will be flown to come, sometimes may not be successful. :cry:

2.SH3 Commander and set the start of the sea

Chinese U-47, I was looking at the KGV model you posted...its all wrong...KGV class has 4 guns in turret A, 2 in turret B right above turret A and 4 guns in Turret C at the stern....no 3 per turret.

I tried the strassbourg and I was wondering if when you fire the main guns you could set it so all 4 guns in the turret fire at the same time instead of you firing 2 guns and the computer firing the other 2??

This girl is 22 years old(born in 1987),working in a hotel.On May 10th,3 gov officials went into that hotel after they were drunk,They want to find prostitutes(unfortunately,in Chinese law,prostitute is illegal),and they think that girl is,but she is not!She stopped them,explained that she is not a prostitute but just a norman worker,then she want to leave.These 3 men stopped her,push her down,and hit her with a dozen money,laughed her.She want to leave but couldn't,and these men try to violate her,she had no choice but defend herself with a small knife.
She killed one,hurt another.
The died one's name is DengGuida,age of 44.

It's very clear she is self-defense.We all know this.But the police station of that town said she murder him(by the way,in China,police station is lead by the town gov) because they quarreled(they tamper with violate as quarrel,,,).And the girl's underwear(important evidence to prove the rape) is bizarre been cleared so they were no use now.
In China,all of us are very angry to see this shameless thing happened...We want to do sth,I want to save that girl.

Going back to the thread WSM to wonder on a couple of things.

many people are using the fashion flies BB, CA and CL but almost no one DD (he also flown BB), but always started out with DD and I think it is a very well-deserved class ship for the module because the game, for example, relish jam GWX was installed as I ran it once on the convoy of merchant ships to 12 went to the bottom of this and a light cruiser! until it was cut by a merchant ship, I was so zapatrzony the merchant ship which zatapiał my destroyer.

my destroyer had many adventures and a couple of limitations related to the scope (I did this is not a problem because you can always turn off the "limit of fuel" or navigate around England and not to America, the second limitation was the ammunition and there was a problem because the towers are often shot from the fight over 5,000 and 200 naboi not starczało but sometimes I found it in a way because the "Basic" in the "CFG" (where he added a picture of the ammunition) but always on a small number of narzekałem torpedo but that's partly because the advised torpedo stocks rose to 24 but unable to complete their (original niszczycielach was from 10 to up to 30 torpedo)

It enjoys the idea of me to swim because the allies have what it boasts.

sorry but sometimes google language translator can not translate all the words at times to penetrate the English and the problems and what to edit a file from the ammunition is the path to D: \ Program Files \ Ubisoft \ SilentHunterIII \ Data \ Cfg file itself to a "Basic" I recommend to open in Notepad, in the following posts where it is written, you must change. All parts are included! :D
Just follow the readme-Instructions. You can play one part at a time (or copy the SH3-folder serveral times and install different parts in each folder).
Alter installed part via JSGM (included, too). If you feel a wrong turret is on the ship you choosed, install VIIC-"part" or IXC-"part" (depending ship you wanna drive) additionally. But it's all described in the readme. (I must admit i had to ask, too ;))

yepp. It's that in part one, the Bismarck for example has a wrong turret (far smaller caliber and size) than the other three. The IXD-part fixes that and therefore repaces stuff. You can unload it at any time.

And yesterday night,I finally worked out this main question,with a new way.Now no matter how many guns you have in one ship,I can make all of them fire.
The weapon upgrade system has also been changed.In old system,you can just change or add weapons in 1 positon(A01,A02,S01,S02,S03),but now,you can change the whole part,I mean:you can add or change light flak guns part,or heavy flak guns part,any parts like that.You'll change or add a dozen guns(or even more) to your ship in one time(we know,warships have more and more flak guns in wartime,in 1940 it may has 10 light flak guns,in 1942 with 40,and in 1944 maybe 80,so I mean you can add a lot of guns to your ship with 1 click).I hope I have make my word clear.
So,wait for WSM3.0.

I have a question about whether you can somehow increase the number of division that can shoot, I wonder how you can do to operate AA 105 mm can also shoot the ships and I think that this file where you can shoot the works to add to your Basic! (picture below):hmmm:

When i trying download that file from rapid I've a error:
Error

I installed GWX 3.0 last night and put the strassbourg in (WSM 3.0 Beta) It works great but my mains only have HE ammo....i went into data/cfg and edited it to 240 AP in the BASIC.CFG file and i still have 240 HE rounds...I edited the basic.cfg in the original game file and the FRBB basic.cfg file....how do i get AP ammo?? Since GWX only gives HE....

in the gwx mod u have ONLY HE or AA ammo u cant edit it too AP

u can say it is a APHE shell but in the unmodded sh3 ap and he make the same dmg at ships no matter armored or unarmored u can sink BBs with LightGrenades or AA ammo too it make the same dmg if he or ap impresseve or?


do anybody know how i can use the waschipmod 2.0 with gwx3.0??

Alright thanks for your reply, i made another thread and the guy said as long as i have ap rounds in the .cfg they will be ap rounds..it shows up as ap rounds anyways on my weapons loadout page

You can't just copy all WSM-MODS-subfolders. I tried, and the ship wasn't equipped with guns. (May it's a small thing to alter and get it work; but i tried Lipud's way and it works. Don't wonder that the menu is still GWX ;))

Can't I just copy the whole MODS-Directory-files? All files in GWX start with GWX, so it should not interfere to copy more, does it?

P.S. You have to choose whether you will be flown vessel type VII or IX, but it only depends on you.

you tried copiing all the folders from MODS? That's easier and as is always change the part i use may be less work (if it works, of course):ping:

I don't reinstall. I installed SH, and everytime i try a mod, i clone the clear installfolder ;) I got 4 Folders now

SH3 1.4b
SH3 1.4b with WSM2.0
SH3 1.4b with GWX3.0
SH3 1.4b with GWX3.0 to install WSM2.0 or 3.0 :)

:hmmm:I wonder when will be any news from the Chinese U-47 could say that version 3.0 ships, we know only that there may be individuals as BBStrasbourg, BBISE, HMS King George V, BBNagato, BBColorado, BBIowa, BBNorthCarolina, or HMS Nelson HMS Rodney, Light cruiser Fiji and BBSouth Dakota.
I think that ships with 2.0 v but will be corrected, asking me how much is now part's. :hmmm:
I also hope that the soon to be a little bit because we'll start to worry and that I was not too happy, or people who are in the subject had not come SH3 WSM version 3:wah:

The whole list of ships you named lipud 107, which chinese u-47 said would be in wsm 3 looks great too me and i hope we get all the ships from wsm 2.0 also in wsm 3.0!! I cant wait!!

I copied the whole MOD-folder from WSM2.0 to the GWX-MOD-folder. Tried part I with IXD, loaded and i was on Bismarck, but no turrets :o (to be correct port and starboard first 2nd-artillery turret was there, but thats all).

#edit: guess i missed activate wsm itself; 'cause now i have ctd while loading :)

#edit2: i did as your image told me; now its NOT wsm, plain gwx and i was a sub. I guess the path on the last 2 images is wrong? I keep trying...
OK i made it. Your images are correct, i just needed to find out, that after starting wsm in JSGME, i had to close JSGME, re-open it and then select the part. Same procedure to activate IXD-addon. Startet 16km-mod, too. I copied all parts in the way your example tells, so i guess i should now be able to switch parts :)
I'm off, building a surface-mission, try it and then will report back :)

you need to copy the marked folders on the pics in the folder \SilentHunterIII-gwx-wsm\MODS\WarshipModV2.0\...

the ... is same as in the normal WarshipMod-Installation. I tired to put it in words earlier.


(start in SilentHunterIII with plain WSM, of course, and copy it in the folders in an SH3 with plain GWX3.0)
Under \SilentHunterIII\MODS\WarshipModV2.0\ come the marked data-subfolders (see image#1)

then in \SilentHunterIII\MODS\WarshipModV2.0\MODS\part*\da ta\ the submarine-folder (image#2)

and finally \SilentHunterIII\MODS\WarshipModV2.0\MODS\part*\MO DS the IXC- and VIIB-folders (image#3)



Use JSGME as i posted and it will work!

I played this MOD and its fun and all but the only thing that bothers me is that it is very obvious the other guys (ships) think your still a u-boat. Its not very realistic when a DD trys to ram you when your in a BB.

I came across a convoy and simply waited for the escorts to ram my ship while they shot spit wads at me. Then when I got tired of that I blew half the escorts out of the water and ran the rest of them over with very little damage to myself.

It would be nice to see a smarter AI. Outside of that it was fun :)
