All the yelling just runs me freakin nuts. :timeout: I know they will stop when I refit but I'm wondering if I can hack the saved game file to get it to stop. If I could change anything about this game I do believe this would be it.

We need a little beer icon to click when this starts, maybe they'll feel better. :()1:

I recently asked the same question. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=147972

The short answer was, "make your own sound files". Since I don't want my whole crew to sound like me, I haven't done anything. But I'm toying with the idea of collecting sound files from anybody on the forum that wanted to participate, and then making some speech packs. But just thinking about it right now...

Just use some old SH1 sound files and convert them with Gold wave!

Just never hit 'crash dive' or 'emergency blow' the boats goes down just as fast hitting the D key.

It drove me nuts until I figured this out.

I can handle the crash dive yelling it's the screaming you get after recieving damage that continues for a long time.

I was hoping I could just "turn off" the elevated voice levels after damage. :hmmm:

Thats just it after you use Crash and they yell, it never stops
