I recently installed the GWX addon. Thought I liked how the mod looks my performance wen't bad quickly.

I was forced to remove the rezolution fix because I would stutter in stormy weather and when I'm close to harbours or other ships my fps also drops when I speed up time over 8. Is there a fix? or somethin I didn't do right? because I dont see any other threads about this issue, so I would asume I'm one of the few.

my specs are;
Intel Q6600 G0
Geforce 8800gt oc
4gb ddr2

Hey mate..

I have a cople of sugestions...

install the optional Mod on the GWX mods folder Light harbor traffic...

Cut of some of the not needed extra Graphic options like sinchron. and reduce particules on the overall look...

Then try it again in a harbor its the best way to see if it goes better....:yep:

hope this helps somehow...:up:

Before using JC's suggestion (Hi by the way).

Your PC should have no problems like you describe.

What resolution are you playing at? For example, if you're running at 1600 x 1200 turn down your AA through your GFX card control panel, you'll probably only need x8 at most using a high res like that.

Ok. Ill have a look at these suggestions.

Also resinstalled the whole thing.

I'll transmit a report in a couple :P

Don't forget to clean your registry to improve your PC performance. Defrag the drive if you think you need to.

And be sure to be free of viruses, worms and trojans as well as spywares and adwares. These kills your PC performance even when you are not online.
