Small Probem Installing 11A Skin.

Guys,
Running GWX3
Starting on my 3 Patrol from Kiel Oct 39 In U-5 IIA Boat.
Found 3 skins from Fubar and Graf. Installed the Folders in my JSGME Mod Folder. Ran the installer for the Camo Folder and it shows that it installed ok.
but when start my Patrol no Camo skin? No change in skin?

try restart the game and re instal mod. another thing is that jsgme can get confused when you have a folder in a folder so here is a diagram. lets call it random. this is how it should be:

random v1

data

etc etc

so what you have to do is keep the second random folder only.

For Example I have the folder called Typ IIA Camo skin folder setting in my
JSGME GWX 3 and it has the sub folders that start with data and etc.
It installs in and out with no problems with the other 7 GWX mods ?
I have
GWX Open hatch mod.
GWX Enhanced Damage effects
GWX No medals on crew
Green U-boat marker
GWX English Nav map and Grid refs
GWX Lite harbor Traffic
LifeBoats&Debris -V4

Anybody see any problems??

Check in game under options/video settings that Texture Quality High is checked. If it is not, the game will not use any skins from the data/Textures/TNormal/tex folder.

The directory structure for a JSGME ready IIA skin should be data\Submarine\NSS_Uboat2A and should be in the form of a single file - the NSS_Uboat2A.dat. this contains the skin in the form of an embedded TGA - the typ 2A_Hull.tga. The current GWX NSS_Uboat2A.dat may be different from the one containing Fubar's skin:hmmm:. If you're familiar with Silent 3ditor & editing dat files, it may be worthwhile extracting the TGA from Fubar's skin dat & importiing it into the GWX typeIIA dat.

If you're not comfortable with editing dat files in this way, then post a download link for your TypeII skin & I'll see what I can do.
