Promotions, Upgrades in RFB 1.52

Hi...

New to RFB and SH4.

I started a career with a small SS-type boat. It's now approaching 1943 and I'm likwe on my fifth or sixth patrol and I still have had NO upgrades offered, nor any promotions.

All I get are renown points and experience for the crew members (And occasionally a medal).

I've done about 20000 tons so far so where's my reward? I would, for example, like a bigger boat, or an air radar.

If you are commanding an S-18 boat, you won't get the chance to fit your boat with SD radar, since none of these boats were fitted with it.

Otherwise, SJ radar becomes available for the S-18 around December 1942 and ~August 1943 for the S-42s. Conning tower upgrades for both classes are both available at around the same time. Other than that, there's not really much in the way of upgrades to speak about for the S boats. The only other modification that relates to the game is the replacement of the 4" deck gun with the 3" model.
