No CREAKS sounds with TMO mod?

Hello again :-)

I never had problem of this kind before, but now with SH4 + AddOn + TMO 1.6.3
I don't hear creaks sounds, Submarine type NSS_S18, depth 90 meters (don't want to
try deeper :D..... and nothing.

I checked Sounds folder, files Creaks_Level1.wav to Creaks_Level4.wav are ok, not
empty, but not in game.

This is intentionally?


I have only TMO with 1.6.3 patch and no additional sound mods.

I have no problems with other sounds, Soundblaster X-Fi Fatality.

iam running tmo 1.63 and rsrds mod with the add on and have all the sounds that you should hear maybe you could give some more info. i will try to help if i can.

I'm not sure but it is possible Duci created this because submarines did not start making creaking noises at PS depth much less at 150 feet. Talking with a few that have been on the fleets the subs would really not start creaking until 250-300. At 300 she would really start to sing. So, it is possible this is by design. RFB handle it in the same way. You get one creak when submerging (ambiance really) and more creaks when you get to 250-300 feet. Take you sub deeper and see if she creaks at or below her crush depth.

Nice catch vickers03!

Apparently the sclass SoundPlaylist node had an incorrect parent id #. It was referencing something else instead of the interior command room.

I'll let Ducimus know. :up:

I have a couple sound mods and I hear no creaks so I'll check that too...
