Where did my sub go?

When I first started playing SHIII, wasn't my sub in the center of the map? Last night I noticed it was missing from the map, who jacked it? :cry:

Whilst depressing the Ctrl key click your pointer on the centre of the screen....this will place your boat in the centre.
