Two questions please to those in the know-

1/ I note from the game files that Icebergs are a possibility in the game, presumably in the Arctic, and wondered if anyone has seen one as I have'nt as yet?
Also, how does this work when using time compression in this area, as I would hate to hit one at 1024 compression!

2/ Question to the weather modders, whilst the weather is great, we lack the reality of showers and rainbows- can these be added in any way?

Just out of interest in the search for total reality!

Many thanks to all.

I've seen a few, and not very far north. Don't worry about hitting it, your crew will give you a warning.

They will be reported but it is still down to you to navigate around them

Yes, another good idea, I hope someone who mods can answer?

I don't mod, what I've heard tho is that you can have either rain, or snow, but not the possibility of both. Rainbows are completely out, unless the Software Dev Kit becomes available.

Ok well lets hope someone gets the kit then!

I will help if possible though am in the early stages of experience with this.

Hope someone else can comment? :know:

Remember that Icebergs are a lot bigger underwater, so if don't go to periscope depth next to one

Actually, in game it's the complete opposite.

Thanks guys- I have yet to have the pleasure of even seeing one, so will keep an eye out for sure!

It makes you wonder how far the experts can go with the weather in this game which is already so well done, but could still do with some tweaks as above doesnt it?

Interesting to see the difference in the sea alone between GWX 3.0 and WAC?

Cheers

All the shots posted were pre GWX3.0

Bwuh? I distinctly remember using external cam to look at the iceberg's underwater stuff and crapping myself over how big it was...

Perhaps you have the Ice Age mod by Venatore. In this case you are right.

I use this mod too. No problem with GWX -for me-
