Hi,everyone,I'm a MODer from China,and my English is very pool,forgive me:D
Here I want to show my German Warship MOD for SH3,unfortunately,I haven't made its English version for you(I just made its Chinese version for Chinese SH3er),but I'll make it.
My German Warship MOD including:
VIIB=Type 34 DD
VIIC=Hipper Class Heavy Cruiser
IXB=Lutzow Pocket Battleship
IXC=Scharnhorst Class Battlecruiser
IXD2=Bismarck Class Battleship

In my first version,all its main gun and flak gun can fire.In my next version which is making right now,its secondary weapon would firing too.
In my MOD you can control M01,S01,A01 and A02.

And in my next version I will give you more choice:German Line,Jap Line,US Line and BR Line.These new Line woule be send to the Pacific Ocean of my Wolf Ocean MOD.

My Wolf Ocean MOD is a MOD that include a lot of AI U-boats,they can support you in battle,like reall wolf pack.

Could someone give me a bit of information, what is the accuracy of the surface artillery at around 10-13 km, if such attack range is possible?
Since in SH4, it is horrific, unless you personally control one of the guns.

We think ai can get shot at about 16KM in Warship MOD.

Dont think so from what have read
Sounds like they fire a virtual torpedo as Sergs AI boats did

Be interesting if he did get them to dive
I know Privateer has but the game still sees the sub as surfaced even though it isnt so everything in a convoy opens up on it

Correct!:smug: With the same virtual torpedo I also made DD's 21TorpedoTriple and 21TorpedoQuad (I believe you can recognize these 2 weapons) work now,so my Wolf Ocean MOD is very dangerous:rotfl:Take care.

well his english is also not very good, he wrights: great work U47, is there anyway to post a link somwhere on english, when the mod is released.
I like those AI subs even when they shoot a virtual torpedo.
I'm sure to spend some time in Bismark to show them Tommies (brits) some guts

Wow, some incredible work here! Commanding battleships (Or destroyers even) would be a fun change from the slow, silent world of the submarine.

I've always thought a Destroyer Command remake would be cool. ;) (Funnily enough, Destroyer Command is what got me into Silent Hunter III lol)

the games have similar engines. but they are not the same car.
the SH4 engine is a step up from SH3, with various modifications made to SH3 graphics to make the new graphics more realistic. Dont fret, there is a Surface-warfare mod coming out for SH4 that i am working with (kinda, no PC at the mo)

In China,there is another SH3 MOD team which is lead by Kys2000,and they also translated SH3 and GWX into Chinese,without them,most of Chinese SH3er and me won't touch this game.Right now they are translating SH4 V1.5 and will soon be OK.

Do you think it is possable to copy SH IV water into SH III? What I mean is the way you can see through the water under the surface.

So I improved their ai,and reduce their number,well,V2.0 is out on July 2008.And it succeed,after V2.0 I made V2.1,V2.2,everything work well.
In summer vacation I planned to add Asia into MOD,as I think the battle of Pacific Ocean is also very important.So I downed some SH4toSH3 ship MOD in subsim,studied what these SH4 ships changed so they can run in SH3 as well as other SH3 ship.And I get the answer,then I turned most of SH4 warship to SH3.Oh,the aircraft too.
By the way,in this time I found SH4 is just half-finished,it's very clearly that a lot of SH4 units havn't been take seriously.Like this plane in the photo,its bomb point makes bomb upright.God,it cost a lot of my time to fix these.

I try to make famous battle recur to SH3er again,from Coral Sea Battle(I don't know if these words are right,I mean the first battle just between aircraft carriers),then Midway Islands Battle,Guadalcanal Islands Battle,such as that(it's a very hard work for me to get these English names),untill Yamato's last attack.
I know they won't be as reall as SH4,I just do my best.
Oh,I nearly forget,I made China too,as I'm a Chinese,I want to see my country lol

Wolf Ocean MOD has up to V3.2 now,after all these MOD still fight in u-boats,I want to command a battleship.
I trust most of you have the same mind too.When SH4 Pocket Battleship MOD is out,I download one and tested it,it's not perfect but it's great,after this MOD,there are soon a dozen SH4 Warship MODs out.
At the same time I also think about to make SH3 Warship MOD.I failed a lot of times and at last I make my ship running on the sea.

the games have similar engines. but they are not the same car.
the SH4 engine is a step up from SH3, with various modifications made to SH3 graphics to make the new graphics more realistic. Dont fret, there is a Surface-warfare mod coming out for SH4 that i am working with (kinda, no PC at the mo)

Wow, some incredible work here! Commanding battleships (Or destroyers even) would be a fun change from the slow, silent world of the submarine.

I've always thought a Destroyer Command remake would be cool. ;) (Funnily enough, Destroyer Command is what got me into Silent Hunter III lol)

In fact I'm a fresh bird to most of you,I just play SH3 for 1 year,that's also the time I have my computer.But I have been a military fan for more than 10 years(someone doesn't believe me,as I'm just 22),especially been a warship fan.When I was very very young,maybe 5 or 6,I saw a picture of Iowa main guns fire a volley,wait......I found this picture,I suppose most of you saw it before.Wow,it's great,I love this!
So,I think I can say I've get ready for doing a Warship MOD for more than 15 years,haha.

1st is Warship MOD,I'll make 3 versions,one for SH3 V1.4,one for GWX3.0,and one for my own Wolf Ocean MOD.This is "a free standing simulator that focuses on surface action".
2nd is Wolf Ocean MOD,it's a supermod "that runs as an SH3 variation, like the Grey Wolves supermod".

U-47, incredible work, Yamato looks brilliant as do all your other ship.

As many have said there is NOTHING wrong with your english, better even than some of the english speakers on this site and others.
Also I think position 4 would be best for conning tower, maybe not accurate but certainly best for gun control.

As to the modders, they truely are a breed apart.
Tried a little 3D modelling myself and it just gave me a headache, I actually find text editing much easier.
What wories me most is that so many of them turn out to be only 13 or 14, less than half my age.
It makes one feel so old.

Fantastic work U-47, checking in everyday for the release, filling the time until then with Jutland, oh and a couple of exams.

Some one may don't like its 127mm gun,I know it's a little big,not like 127mmSingleGE it used in GWX.
Radar works.
Notice,radar in my warship mod has fixed to your ship yet(so what you use is FuMO 23 or anything like that,not small u-boat's radar),so you needn't and mustn't choose radar or any other u-boat's equipments in menu.

That has to do with the skin, not so much the model.

I wonder, are there any skinning tutorials for SH3 laying about? I do paintschemes and such for Il-2 and several other games, and I'm always looking for something to do with Photoshop. :hmm:

Weiß Pinguin: Yes, the smoothness is a product of the skin. I've been asking in several quarters for direction to some graphics tutorials for doing some modifications but haven't gotten any real guidance...maybe just asking in the wrong places. I hate to really bother folks with requests but IMHO the more people working on mods the better.

I notice that IABL gives his example in Wings, maybe that's what Chinese U-47 is working in. Question is what are the 3-D interior files that one opens to to use with either Wings or GMAX? That is, beyond the files that one opens with S3D or DatTexExtract that seem to be flat files integrated into a 3 dimensional world only by reference.

I always think about to make a mod which like DC2,as in China,it seems most of players like type 34 DD better than battleships,that's why in my next plan there are more DD/TB but not cruiser or battleship.
Someone told me,they like DD because it's much nimble and danger than invincible battleship.

If y'all have kept up with world economic reports, and China's problems with many factory/work place shut downs and layoffs, one has to wonder if Chinese U47 came home from Spring Festival and found his job gone...many in China have. Would be a shame. Guess we will just have to wait and see if he returns.

I started playing with your destroyers version last night...what a blast! I am in a Type 34 killing time off the Norwegian coast before the Battle of Norway and encountered a convoy with Britsh escorts. Killed all four C&D classes and three British merchants. Unfortunately, I also sank two Norwegian neutrals too. (Tip: If you're near a mixed flag convoy and you get done with an escort, IMMEDIATLEY take off 'Fire at Will' or your guns will start chopping away at the closest merchant with little regard for nationality. With four guns blazing at close range it doesn't take long to sink a medium merchant. :cry: ..:arrgh!: )

BTW, kudos on the torpedos. I wasn't expecting the torpedos to be functional.

Regarding sounds: Is the diesel engine sound for the DDs stock from game? It sounds a bit distorted. I think a cleaner sound would be more less irritating when listening to the engines so loud for a long period of time. I think a battlestations siren for ten seconds, perhaps with the sound of people running on metal deck, would also be good when fired on. (If you'ld like me to whip up a sound file, let me know. I can probably do that.)

I noticed while playing with this mod, Excellent by the way!, that the deck gun is shooting hire than the range or crosshairs said. I had to aim the crosshairs below the ship in order to hit it. How can I fix this?

If you mean your guns can't exact shoot,then...I could just advice you shoot close and shoot the water line,it maybe help.

I think that Chinese U-47 is still working above version for the GWX. Most probably these a few days will last. But version for SH3 1.4 is good. On the first patrol in 1940 I sank 87000 BRT- I came across the convoy :arrgh!:

Just had a runout with mod 1

Agreed the 88mm is a bit shabby for a heavy cruiser\pocket battleship
And you cant fire the DG on the Bismark
Had no idea which guns were the flak either - not very good when in a convoy battle

Kept getting the ship spotted message too - even when enemy was only 2500m away

Still was fun and made a change

I started a carrer using type IXB that is a Hipper class heavy cruiser, but the 3,7mm guns don't appear instead I have a 15 cm gun at the bridge, when I use the Hipper in "single Mission" I can use the 3,7 mm quad mounts that are verry efective against planes and smaller vessels, Why does this happends I'm doing something wrong?

Me and my friend tested this mod as mltiplayer - (excellent work!):salute:, but:

1. When one of us is sinking after destroing, game is corrupted...
To test it, I prepared crashtests for: GPIII: (IIA, IID, VIIB, VIIC, IXB) on multi (LAN, 1 player, ship vs. large passenger)
Game always has crashed after destroying player's unit (after turn spectator mode, current depth of destroyed unit 10-30 meters).

2. I tested all DDs by TORPEDO TEST (shot torpedos at 31 kt, when DD has more) in my test only soldati class didn't crash game after sunk...

3. In one case my friend (italian cruiser) is sinking after one torpedo (!), but after torpedo hit his hull integrality was higher than zero?!. When he was sinked (and was uder surface), the integrality was not constant - it was still reduced during sinking.

4. The most disturbed graphic issue (for me, of course) is subs outline on crew menaging and weapon section. Can it be changed to DD's outline, of course, it can be identical for all ship units (like in DC)...

Some ideas???

I am using this mod currently using the hipper. I keep running out of fuel or something not right it just goes to a dead stop. I am on the easy mode. If I hit full speed you hear the engines running but the ship is not moving this really sucks when i am in a battle with a convoy and I can't move once the battle starts. Does anyone had this problem or know of a solution?

Could someone...anyone...using this mod please post some step-by-step enabling intstructions? There really aren't any to speak of in the very brief readme that Mickey117 included with the download for Chinese U-47...frankly there are so many sub folders here (many of which are called MOD within folders also called MOD) that I'm a bit confused about how to enable this exciting, playable surface ship behemoth through JSGME. I'm not asking for anyone to hold my hand on this (I have a fair amount of experience with mod-enabling) but a little "road-map" help would certainly be appreciated!

Well, I got all impatient and decided to try a "blind" JSGME installation (no readme included... just a brief disclaimer) of Chinese U-47's mod. Couple of questions I have / issues I've discovered:

1. I've enabled the GermanPart I portion of the mod and have been on sea trials in the various classes & types: from TB to Bismarck....(just to make sure I'm working in the right direction). The ships look GREAT, but all of my big guns (Deck Guns...and sometimes flak) are missing! A completely toothless pack of sea wolves. Anyone have the same problem? If so, please tell me how to make the correction.

2. I noticed the ship type and skin mini-mods kept wanting to overwrite the basic cfg files of the main mod in JSGME (GermanPart I)...Is this normal? What am I doing wrong?

3. What are the Germanpart II, GermanPart III and ItalyPart mods? What do they do? Anybody have a clue here? Should I have enabled them as well?

I'm a little worried that I don't see too many posts of problems getting solved here lately ...is Chinese U-47 in touch with anyone on the thread or by PM? Or are folks just giving up and moving on? This is a GREAT mod (don't get me wrong)...I just need someone who's in the loop on this tweaking / enabling this stuff. Any help would be appreciated -- thanks!

I finally found some decent instructions for enabling this mod -- it's not specially written for the GWX 3.0 version (but I was curious and downloaded the stock 1.4 version at BTS....sure enough: two...not one, but TWO big, fat, juicy readme files). I love directions, what can I say...

So, in the interest of saving anyone intending to use this mod an inordinate amount of head-srcatching and thread queries, I'm taking the liberty of posting both README files below. I'm not the author, so any major mod-enabling questions should be directed to Chinese U-47 or maybe Lord FLB (since he did in-game and README translations).

Obviously, I'll be posting in-game issues / questions that are unique to GWX if anyone wants to follow this thread.

Silent Hunter III

Warship MOD V2.0 - German Version / from Chinese U-47

--General--

As the name suggests, my latest development, Warship Mod (WSM) V2.0, will bring the player in the situation, to play over-water units in Silent Hunter III. In this version of the mod German surface units are available. The following types of submarine were replaced by German surface units:

U-Boat Type VIIB = type 34 destroyer
U-Boat Type VIIC = Heavy cruiser Admiral Hipper
U-Boat Type IXB = "Pocket" Schlachtiff Lützowplatz
U-Boat Type IXC = battle cruiser Scharnhorst
U-Boat Type IXD2 = battleship Bismarck

--Installation--

Using of the WSM is very easy:
- Download the zip file
- If available, unpack into the MODS folder in Silent Hunter III main folder and acitvate WSM with the Generic Mode Abler (JSGME) by Jonesoft
- If no JSGME - just copy the data folder in the root directory of SH3

This mod is certainly not perfect, because I had to handle some of difficulties to create it. So please, do not be surprised if there might come some mistakes come. So excuse, I've tried to reduce the bugs out of the mod to zero, but some bugs can sometimes slip through the net. Absence of a tutorial for the handling of over-water units lacking, it is "learning by doing." To acitvate the Mod, the easiest way is with the JSGME. After the mod is enabled, the game can start normaly. That should not now say, that you really like to get started. It's best you try once to be familiar with these new units.

--The units--

For example type 34 destroyer:
This unit is certainly no a strong surface unit - compared to a battle ship or cruiser. Less powerful, less armor and smaller size! Nevertheless, I advise the player,try with this unit the first test runs , It's really a huge difference to the handling of a submarine. It opens up the player completely new possibilities. New Attack-/Defense-Tactics, combat damage handling (primary fire), etc. Thanks to its agility and speed, this unit can not be underestimated. Even with these smaller units, they must be tactically wise act. It makes no sense, against a larger opponent to operate alone. You will very quickly have to painfully learn that your opponent is not such a growth, and then you will be very quickly sunk!
I have the damage performance of the individual units held as historically correct as I can. that means that you will be not invulnerable - even you have the armoring of a battleship. Against an elite unit like a Nelson battleship - for example, it is more dangerous to fight than against an inexperienced Unit.

--Other--

The war against merchant shipping (against civilians) is a sensitive issue. Should such a thing in a game show? Surely you can fight only against Warships. Nevertheless, the war on water as was seen a "war against merchant shipping". So each player themselves - has to decide his priorities.
To survive, you must sometimes proceed against port facilities. Be careful! Coastal fortifications could be strong. Which is not fun and can sometimes develop into a nightmare.
Air strikes against surface units are a nightmare for any captain. In comparison to the anti-aircraft weapons of the U-boats in SH3 - I have create a greater firepower in the units of WSM. Nevertheless, don't underestimate the KI-Power of the Aircrafts.So do not be disappointed, if you don't bring down all the enemy aircrafts... it's a hard job. Finally, the Bismarck, had massive Flak Weapons - but where sunk by enemy planes.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to coordinate allied AI units with radio messages. In fact that AI is sometimes a bit "stupid" - this is well known. This problem, unfortunately I could not fix. Nevertheless, I was able to fix in the last minute the range of radar of the units. Instead of the low range of the submarine radar devices, with WMS the player has a radar system with higher performance. For this opinion I have to cancel the Radar-Warning Systems and the smaller machine guns.
The anti-aircraft weapons, I have made more powerful. Equally, ammunition available is higher too. If you want - take battle stations at the Flak - you know the AI guys are still no snipers.
As for the primary armament is concerned, I personally suggest that you trust your team. However you can of course handle it by yourself. Especially under adverse weather conditions, the ki guys would be not the worsest choice.
Still I have problem with the artillery weapons of the units. It means, that you can only have the crosshair and zoom levels with the first primary deckgun. The rest of the deckguns you have to handle with the automatic fire modus - remember - for SH3 it's still a Submarine! But attention - don't hit friendly units ;D
An old chinese man said: Caution is the mother of the porcelain box - even my mother said. Therefore, it is no shame to find his salvation in running away - especially if the oppenent will be harder than you.
The armor / hull should be handle carefully - As th hull of Subs , your crew can't fix it... unfortunately - at 0% you're dead.
Also I have problems with the graphic of the damage-/Crew Screen (F7). It's still Submarine! Maybe I will fix it in future.

--Tactics--

As the tactics of a U-boat is completely different to surface units , you have to rethink. The water was the protection of the submarine - for over-water units, the course quite different. For example - even with a 320mm thick armor of the hull - along the water line - you are not invulnerable.
Together we are strong - this is my suggestion: In the mixed association of destroyers, cruisers or heavy battleship - attack the enemy. You should try the accompanying vessels away from the convoy - and then you will be able to attack the convoy without risks. So it could be the best way! Not to be wanton, beat time is the secret! Take advantage of the strengths of its units from and cheer them when possible broadsides.
Air attacks by the AI are sometimes really extreme in SH3. Especially in GWX 3.2 mod you will ever again have to do with air attacks. So you have to avoid coasts, unless your hull is not fully intact. Against coastal batteries and aircrafts it's hard to fight.

--Solo Campaign - Equipment / Crew--

1. Equipment selection is limited, such as Battery charger, which one is not needed.
2. Crew for torpedo weapon has been abandoned in favor of the machine and Flak Crew.
3. Please, don't choose not U-boat types: VIIC/41 u. 42 or IXC/40. These ones have not changed!

Last but not least a few basic things:

1. Radio telegrams to other units (as in the SH3 Subs) can not be sent or received. I have tested - but I am never concluded.
2. Partially, the twin 105-Flak not operate correctly. This depends on the field of view of the graph together. However, this is not with all anti-aircraft weapons of this type - it probably depends on the placement of these weapons in different units. Unfortunately, I still not solved this problem.
3. The orientation of Primary weapons takes a little bit - not like Fire at will (Like the deckgun of U-Boats). Some Flak arms can't fire immediately, if the AI handle this staions. However, this is a temporary problem and does not always occur.
4. Under certain circumstances you can no longer be on the bridge - if it is damaged. The hull of the units can not be repaired.
5. If the machine does not respond - then "press back" command - usually it runs then normaly (there are also problems with the stock version of SH3 to the U-boats)
6. Battleships to build was not easy, simply because too few U-boat types are available. Also I had to estrict armament - but still sufficient.
7. By the seat of the elevated bridge, the player now has a better sight.

I finally found some decent instructions for enabling this mod -- it's not specially written for the GWX 3.0 version (but I was curious and downloaded the stock 1.4 version at BTS....sure enough: two...not one, but TWO big, fat, juicy readme files). I love directions, what can I say...

So, in the interest of saving anyone intending to use this mod an inordinate amount of head-srcatching and thread queries, I'm taking the liberty of posting both README files below. I'm not the author, so any major mod-enabling questions should be directed to Chinese U-47 or maybe Lord FLB (since he did in-game and README translations).

Obviously, I'll be posting in-game issues / questions that are unique to GWX if anyone wants to follow this thread.

Warship MOD V2.0 - German Version / from Chinese U-47

--General--

As the name suggests, my latest development, Warship Mod (WSM) V2.0, will bring the player in the situation, to play over-water units in Silent Hunter III. In this version of the mod German surface units are available. The following types of submarine were replaced by German surface units:

U-Boat Type VIIB = type 34 destroyer
U-Boat Type VIIC = Heavy cruiser Admiral Hipper
U-Boat Type IXB = "Pocket" Schlachtiff Lützowplatz
U-Boat Type IXC = battle cruiser Scharnhorst
U-Boat Type IXD2 = battleship Bismarck

--Installation--

Using of the WSM is very easy:
- Download the zip file
- If available, unpack into the MODS folder in Silent Hunter III main folder and acitvate WSM with the Generic Mode Abler (JSGME) by Jonesoft
- If no JSGME - just copy the data folder in the root directory of SH3

This mod is certainly not perfect, because I had to handle some of difficulties to create it. So please, do not be surprised if there might come some mistakes come. So excuse, I've tried to reduce the bugs out of the mod to zero, but some bugs can sometimes slip through the net. Absence of a tutorial for the handling of over-water units lacking, it is "learning by doing." To acitvate the Mod, the easiest way is with the JSGME. After the mod is enabled, the game can start normaly. That should not now say, that you really like to get started. It's best you try once to be familiar with these new units.

--The units--

For example type 34 destroyer:
This unit is certainly no a strong surface unit - compared to a battle ship or cruiser. Less powerful, less armor and smaller size! Nevertheless, I advise the player,try with this unit the first test runs , It's really a huge difference to the handling of a submarine. It opens up the player completely new possibilities. New Attack-/Defense-Tactics, combat damage handling (primary fire), etc. Thanks to its agility and speed, this unit can not be underestimated. Even with these smaller units, they must be tactically wise act. It makes no sense, against a larger opponent to operate alone. You will very quickly have to painfully learn that your opponent is not such a growth, and then you will be very quickly sunk!
I have the damage performance of the individual units held as historically correct as I can. that means that you will be not invulnerable - even you have the armoring of a battleship. Against an elite unit like a Nelson battleship - for example, it is more dangerous to fight than against an inexperienced Unit.

--Other--

The war against merchant shipping (against civilians) is a sensitive issue. Should such a thing in a game show? Surely you can fight only against Warships. Nevertheless, the war on water as was seen a "war against merchant shipping". So each player themselves - has to decide his priorities.
To survive, you must sometimes proceed against port facilities. Be careful! Coastal fortifications could be strong. Which is not fun and can sometimes develop into a nightmare.
Air strikes against surface units are a nightmare for any captain. In comparison to the anti-aircraft weapons of the U-boats in SH3 - I have create a greater firepower in the units of WSM. Nevertheless, don't underestimate the KI-Power of the Aircrafts.So do not be disappointed, if you don't bring down all the enemy aircrafts... it's a hard job. Finally, the Bismarck, had massive Flak Weapons - but where sunk by enemy planes.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to coordinate allied AI units with radio messages. In fact that AI is sometimes a bit "stupid" - this is well known. This problem, unfortunately I could not fix. Nevertheless, I was able to fix in the last minute the range of radar of the units. Instead of the low range of the submarine radar devices, with WMS the player has a radar system with higher performance. For this opinion I have to cancel the Radar-Warning Systems and the smaller machine guns.
The anti-aircraft weapons, I have made more powerful. Equally, ammunition available is higher too. If you want - take battle stations at the Flak - you know the AI guys are still no snipers.
As for the primary armament is concerned, I personally suggest that you trust your team. However you can of course handle it by yourself. Especially under adverse weather conditions, the ki guys would be not the worsest choice.
Still I have problem with the artillery weapons of the units. It means, that you can only have the crosshair and zoom levels with the first primary deckgun. The rest of the deckguns you have to handle with the automatic fire modus - remember - for SH3 it's still a Submarine! But attention - don't hit friendly units ;D
An old chinese man said: Caution is the mother of the porcelain box - even my mother said. Therefore, it is no shame to find his salvation in running away - especially if the oppenent will be harder than you.
The armor / hull should be handle carefully - As th hull of Subs , your crew can't fix it... unfortunately - at 0% you're dead.
Also I have problems with the graphic of the damage-/Crew Screen (F7). It's still Submarine! Maybe I will fix it in future.

--Tactics--

As the tactics of a U-boat is completely different to surface units , you have to rethink. The water was the protection of the submarine - for over-water units, the course quite different. For example - even with a 320mm thick armor of the hull - along the water line - you are not invulnerable.
Together we are strong - this is my suggestion: In the mixed association of destroyers, cruisers or heavy battleship - attack the enemy. You should try the accompanying vessels away from the convoy - and then you will be able to attack the convoy without risks. So it could be the best way! Not to be wanton, beat time is the secret! Take advantage of the strengths of its units from and cheer them when possible broadsides.

Excellent work, U-47! You have not just added a new dimention to this game, you have made it a whole new game.

Sluggin it out with HMS Hood and POW from the decks of Bismark in The Battle of the Denmark Strait was really cool. With the help of Prinz Eugen both British "Men O' War" were sunk as well as their six escorts but at the cost of the Prinz.

Thanks for your fine work, Im looking foreward to your next additions.

Ran a blockade in Dover strait and in Scapa flow and destroyed an intier convoy.

The mod is fantastic...just what I needed! Except for one teeny problem: where are the guns on my Lutzow-class Panzerschiffe? :o I started a new career (August 1939) and when I got going I noticed the 11-inch main and 5.9-inch secondaries were all missing. I noticed the same problem on Tirpitz when I was playing just GWX 3.0, but seeing as how it was before the ship was commissioned, I figured she had no guns because she was just fitting out or something.

How do I correct this on my ship, though...gotta have guns to sink them thar convoys, ya know! :DL
