I have uploaded a fix for the target lock issue that is with the current version of RFB 1.52. The "lock" will disable itself after a couple of seconds, it will now function as required. The file "Lock Fix Patch_111608" can be found here (http://files.filefront.com/Lock+Fix+Patch+111608rar/;12894530;/fileinfo.html).
The installation should be as follows:
RFB_v1.52_102408
RFB_v1.52_Patch_111608

I have just found something that should be noted for your use. In doing night attack tests, the lock feature will work as required IF the target is within approximately 55 degrees of the subs bow, starboard or port. However, if your trying to lock onto a target beyond this frontal quarter relative bearing the lock will still drop out after a few seconds. This tells me two things.
1. Night visual sensors will need to be looked at to fully correct the problem.
2. There is a "bearing" parameter that only shows up at night that is not completing a 360 degree sweep.
So, sorry for not putting out a complete fix. I realize this is just temporary due to RFB working on a near patch, but I wanted to make sure you all know there is a cravate to the fix for now.

I notice when you double click on the FileFront "Download" icon it sometimes takes you to a blue screen, with (I believe) the text "To continue on to FileFront" or something like that. Double click the text and the next screen should give you a "Thank You....... with the Lock Fix 111608". If you have vista you'll see a yellow pop up bar appear towards the top of the screen, asking you if you want to allow the pop up. Click the yellow bar and answer yes, the download will then start.

Just tried it and it worked, just click on that above link and if it takes you to another again click the thing and you should be good to go.
Sometimes as well, it just takes the file a few seconds to appear as a download, but if you wait a few moments, the option to d\l it usually appears. Yeah it's strange, but a mod like this one is worth the hassle :yep:

I have just found something that should be noted for your use. In doing night attack tests, the lock feature will work as required IF the target is within approximately 110 degrees of the subs bow, starboard or port (about 55 degrees to one side or the other). However, if your trying to lock onto a target beyond this frontal quarter relative bearing the lock will still drop out after a few seconds. This tells me two things.
1. Night visual sensors will need to be looked at to fully correct the problem.

Since I'm not an expert on these visual sensors I didn't expect to find all the possible trouble areas. Guess I will before I'm through.
