Um... so I'm at Midway and I select the Transfer option to Holy Loch, UK for "Missions in the North Sea area from 19blah to 19blah years"...

So, it accepts it and gives me a mission near Guatacanal. I go to plot more course and sure enough.. I'm in England and my mission is by Guatacanal.

This is a stock bug. You must do a mission from your old home base before it will give you one for your new base.
