I am using OLC2 Special GUI and I was wondering if anyone has a link or mod to change to attack scope and UZO to 1 degree marks instead of 5?

Thanks

I have quickly prepared one using my own bearing indicator (The one I created for my NYGM optics mod).

It's JGSME ready, so you just need to decompress and then put the folder "Precision Beraring" (Sorry for the bad typo, won't affect the mod at all) into your "Mods" folder and activate via JGSME.

Get it here: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=6325fc63769ddc3ed2db6fb9a8902bda

One more thing Hitman...

Where does it go to fix the UZO and periscope.

Thanks

Unless OLC did a separate bearing graphic for them, this one should be OK for all optics. Have you tried it already? As I said, I have not been able to test, so please install it and tell me if all works OK :hmm:

OLC's ribbons are 16 pixels high so maybe that could make your ribbon look weird.

However in his menu1024.ini he uses different names for each optic:

data/menu/OLC/atkbearing.tga
data/menu/OLC/binbearing.tga
data/menu/OLC/UZObearing.tga
data/menu/OLC/obsbearing.tga

So before you enable it, it should be copied to the Preciscion Bearing mod (note he uses a OLC folder instead of GUI) and renamed to the above 4 files first. Or tweak the menu1024.ini file. Simply search for "bearing" in it.

To be honest, the above is all academic. I haven't tested it yet for real.

I asked in OLC's sticky thread. We will get this.

Me too. Here's the screenschots:

OLC's binocular view has no bearing ribbon as standard. That is a personal tweak. IIRC I adusted it's coordinates back into a visible screen position.

Ah, all right I see. Looks like his graphic is smaller (In heigth) than mine :hmm:

Wait a moment and I'll fix that...

Here you go:

Again JGSME ready, drop into your "mods" folder and activate it.

Tell me if something goes wrong, I don't have OLC's interface and must do this blindly :hmm:

Hitman that seems to work! The file structure is a little off (dont need GUI file. just menu/olc...ect) but with some arranging it is good.

Question though...

In the updated precision bearing mod you included a file called "bearing.tga" with all the others. Did you mean to do this and what does it do?

Also....you have another download on the webpage just called "bearing" as well. Same file???

Yes, I included it because I don't know if the original game file (Bearing.tga) is still used by OLC's interface somehow.

Hmmm no, I uploaded it all to the link I gave you, may be is some older upload or whatever. In any case you just need the pack I last linked to.

There is still a small problem with it but it's easily solved. The OLC folder with the 4 (optic specific) bearing ribbons should reside in the Menu folder, and not level deeper inside the Gui folder.

So the OLC folder needs to be moved so it is:

Data\Menu\OLC\Obsbearing.tga
Data\Menu\OLC\Atkbearing.tga
Data\Menu\OLC\UZObearing.tga
Data\Menu\OLC\binbearing.tga

and

Data\Menu\Gui\bearing.tga
