Bettie Page Captain's Desk Photos Tribute Set?

I'd like to know if ya'll want a tribute set of pin-up queen Bettie Page, who died yesterday. I haven't done one of her before because she was strictly from the 1950's. But on the other hand, my first three sets are more modern than that, and some of the other sets do have post WWII images in them, so...

The set would not include any nude or bondage pics, which she was well known for. Unless BtS Mods doesn't have a problem hosting those, and ya'll want them.

If there is enough demand for those pics I would not have an issue hosting them so long as there is a notice on the mod's description and the preview thumbnail does not contain graphic images. If I could make a special request that a clean version of it be made for people with children as well :cool:

I could certainly do two versions. Filefront has a no porn policy, so I couldn't have even considered them if I was still there. I figured I should ask for BtS Mods.

I'd vote for anything you have. But was there any fleet regulation regarding pinup types that could be displayed...or was that a sub captain variable?

I wonder if anyone knows where the .dds files are for the various pinups that appear in various places in the sub, and for the ones at the end of the file cabinet in the Captain's office and outside the exit door? I have found the .dds file for the framed photo on the desk in the Captain's office, but cannot find the .dds graphics files for the others in the Data/Tex file. Would like to replace them with better period B/W photos. No, not with anything nasty.

I know the Air Force had to enact some regs late in the war after the folks back home started finding out about the nudes crewman were painting on their bombers. I don't know about the Navy.

I'm goin' down: Hey, skin is good. But it is true that Doenitz absolutely prohibited any pinups in the Kriegsmarine ('course he never knew what was taped onto the deckhead above the bunks before the sub returned to base). Different times.

I'm mostly referring to the pinups in the sub (yes, there is one at the end of the filing cabinet and another in the open exit door in the Captain's room) but I'm not trying to replace Urge's rather exorbitant display. I'd just like to know in what interior department Data/Tex dds the small pinups appear as part of the general compartmental graphics - if you travel through the sub using ctrl-F2 you run across several in various places. Once you know the name of the dds defining that space, you can replace just any small part of the compartment interior with whatever you want as long as it is sized correctly. That may not be phrased very neatly, but maybe you get my meaning.

I'm goin; down: I grew up during WW2 (yeah, I am that old - father was with Chennault and the Tigers in Kunming) and have several B/W photos of my mother and relatives during that period that would work quite nicely as 'pinups' in personal spaces of the crew that would have reminded them of home. Don't get me wrong...no prude, but in this case skin's not my goal.

Seeing what the winner would be, barring some sudden late surge of No votes, I went ahead and started downloading images last week. I hope to have the set posted sometime after New Year's, when I finish going through them an removing the duplicates.

One thing. I had thought about including the nudes and bondage pics because I was afraid there might not be a lot of images without them. Turns out I was wrong. Even after removing the duplicates there'll most likely be over 700 of the regular pin-up type pictures! So I won't be doing a separate "adult" version. If you want those pics, you'll have to get them yourselves.
