Hi fellow kaleuns,
Any ideas on this CTD I am having, I saved after a convoy attack in patrol 17 of my latest career, went to load the next evening and had a CTD, ok its happened before but thought I would try something and fired up SH3 without using SH3 Commander v3.1.2.181 like I usually do. I loaded up the save that had the CTD before and it worked fine, hit the convoy again with my last few torps and returned to base.
I fired up SH3 tonight though Commander again to start patrol 18 set up the crew with their new medals and sub with torps and had another CTD loading the start of my new patrol. Tried a few times with the same result.
It seems I can load single missions though Commander but not my career, I managed to load the start of patrol 18 without using Commander, I exited the patrol without leaving the dock to see if anyone had any ideas.
My system is usually pretty stable, I have had a few CTDs in the past and have not added any new mods for a month or two and play every day.
The error message comes up with
Appname sh3.exe appver 1.4.0.1 modname msvcr 71.dll
Modver 7.10.3052.4 offset 00002969
I can just about load up new mods but am not to hot on trouble shooting and seems odd that its happening at the start of a new patrol, any ideas chaps.
Off to bed now and will check after work tomorrow if anyone has any suggestions. Cheers
