Hi guys!
I'm making this pool to know your opinion about the next step of the water mod. Please leave your opinion!

well, i put smoother waves, however, i noticed something...the waves have some kind of template "square" that kind of loops a wave animation...
its too bad...i can sometimes see where the squares align and it looks really...un-sealike
EDIT: I love pools!

And you're also aware that's a part of the game engine that cannot be fixed. Just the way it is, people tried everything. The game don't allow any changes on that. :nope:

I'd leave the Med water alone and maybe the atlantic could do with being closer to WAC 3.0 colours and the Arctic could certainly be darker!
Just My Opinion!

Time's up for voting.
The results will be defined at the new version of the mod as:
Darker water
Smoother Waves
Less Reflective
About the bigger waves, do you guys mean bigger waves in heavy seas? Or overall bigger waves? Or bigger blocks of water so the mod don't take too heavy on the videocard?

I think the problem is that 90% of the time the most significant waves will well
below 1/20 u-boat length (as in your mod), but at the same time we want our
storms to have the 1/3 uboat length big rollers.
A limit of SH3 perhaps.

If you really felt heroic you could produce a group of different mods for the different waters which can be installed and uninstalled as needed
:D

Nope, that can be done.
But if done, huge issues all around.
1. Ships starts to sink on their own due to flooding in heavy seas.
2. Uboats starts to pop-out of the water when the wave goes down, and sail underwater with the crew on the bridge when the wave goes up.
3. Ships docked sometimes hit the floor or hit the dock.
And some other minor issues.
So you're partially right, SH3 limits. Can be virtually done, but the consequences are undesirable.
