vista 32 by default stops a program from using more than 2 gb ram, so I went into the .exe file and modified it to accept more than that. It works great for all my other stuff like FSX and IL2. But now, the stupid protection program for sh3 keeps saying my .exe file is corrupted, and I should reinstall the program. Can I bypass this at all?

All I want is for it to load faster :cry:

Is there any way to do this tweak?

You might be able to if its this issue.

>start>settings>controlpanel>system>advanced system settings>Performance>

Data Execution Prevention,

Click on {Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:}

ADD
"search for the installed Silent Hunter III EXE file and add it."

Do this for all games install.

DEP check you memory of programs running. Its looking for virus and will shut it down. Sometime games can cause a shutdown or crash.
