I have a document I was pointed to when I first started SH3 which shows moon phases and sunrise/sunset times (for every day of the war years). I was pointed to this as SH3 got rid of the moon phase and sunrise/sunset calendar which was available in the Captain's Cabin in SH2. GWX 2.1 (or maybe it's SH3 itself) is WAY off compared to this document? It's October 8th, 1939 here and I should be seeing a moon phase between a last quarter and new moon (very dark, IOW). Imagine my surprise as the sun sets and I have timed my approach perfectly into Loch Ewe...only to find a full moon rising when I was counting on darkness! :p

The document in question is "Moon Phases Sun rise and set for 1939 to 1945.pdf" which I downloaded as "moon.zip".

Which one is incorrect...the document or the sim?

It just so happens that I have the same document.

The document is correct.

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about its representation in the sim.

(In an effective way at any rate.)
