Help - Promotion , the 2nd;)

Hi People,

I have some serious trouble, but as it seems , I chose the wrong forum to post it;). So forgive me when I just copy&paste;)

It's my first post, and English is not my mother tongue, so don't go too hard on me plz;)

I just bought U boat missions, and , well, all the usual stuff: Wrong AA gun targeting, crew reloads while diving etc etc tec. Annoying, but you can deal with it.

BUT: Now i am back in harbour (after 2nd mission, Asian Fleet) and I still cannot promote crewmembers?!? (Serached forum, but didn't find anything). WTF? According to my savegeame, I should have 11 promotions available right now. Half of my crew is ready for it, but still nothing appears in the ingame menue?? (The 3 stripes column). Medals etc workd fine, though.
That is really awful, what shall / can I do? (Yes, restarted new campagin, previous savegame etc. Worked all fine on the original SH4.) I really would appreciate a solution, since otherwise I am not willing to play the game any longer, because there is no point in playing when you can't get a better crew :(

We will miss you.

Maybe you have the maximum number of officers you can have and that is why there are no promotions available?

If that is the problem then there is a way to fix it and it is here.http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=135499 Works for both the US and German campaigns.
