Gramophone Songrandomizer driving me insane

[I'm goin' down]

I do not know what I am doing re getting music to play on the phonograph. The stock music is driving me crazy and my dogs cover their eyes with there paws and a minute later start to howl when I play the stock music. I downlowded the songrandomizer and some RAR files, but do not know how to extract them into the songrandimzer and what to do after that. I need someone to walk me through it, or give me an alternative, please.

correct me if im mistaken:

put your song files into your data/sound/gramophone directory

put the songrandomizer.exe file into your main sh4 folder (the main folder containing data, mods, etc....)

run the songrandomizer prog then from there you can start SH4

You're going to need something to extract those .rar files before you put them into the gramophone folder. I use Izarc (it's free, handles almost all kinds of compressed files, and is available here (http://www.izarc.org/).) 7 Zip is another good one that's free, it's available here (http://www.7-zip.org/).

it is working. And I am downloading more music too. thanks a lot, captains. Now, I will start trying to figure out radio channels, etc. and download the radio files. I'll be back if I have problems with those.
