Is it still going or has it died? Just curious as I haven't seen any activity.
Shame as it was very good.

I read that some people are working on it to update LWAMI and port SCX to DW.
I've tried Alfa Tau in mean time and now I've been playing with Reinforce Alert OPFOR add-on for DW that is also called DWX. I'm totally thrilled by the many new doctrines in it. For example a few Russian torpedoes now have the capability of active/passive wake homing. Just like in the RL.
The new Mk 48 ADCAP is no longer snaking like it should and its head is rotating slowly to cover an area almost 180 degree in front of it.
There are many 3D models which are so beautifully done. even the torpedoes have never been done any better since SC and DW came out.

I'm not aware of any changes since my last update (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showpost.php?p=921957&postcount=157), so I don't have anything to add.

Where can I get the 3.09 update? All this time it's been out there...
I suppose you could title it "LWAMI 3.09 Incremental update", while waiting for LWAMI 4.

If it's simply a matter of copying numbers down and moving them over to the new database, I'd be happy to lend a hand porting the SCX stuff over to the LWAMI database. I wouldn't know how to do much else, but I'm a fast learner and I have a few database editing tutorials in a folder here.

Just so you know I made the mistake of voultering and made a mess of the DB. I think Molon was working on the DB from scrach but I have not heard from him lately.
If you want to try go to http://www.commanders-academy.com/tlamstrike/ and down load the DW Modding Meterials

LWAMI has a much different base than SCX. SCX is also based on a different (not radically, but different nonetheless) acoustics engine than DW has. So I'd imagine it's not just as easy as copying over SCX values to the DW database. You'd get different results than what both mods intended.
If you don't mind TLAM, what makes you say you made a mess of the DB?

From scratch? No, we were working on the same DB and passing it back and forth...

OK can anyone here help me to get the J3D viewer working?
It keeps crashing on me and I think it is to do with the glut32.dll
Help.

@Xabbarus : have you tried updating the glut.dll (an opengl file) ?
Otherwise try a different version of your graphics card driver.
Here you can find the files : http://www.opengl.org/resources/libraries/glut/

OK I went there and could find source code but no set of dlls that I could install.
I tried putting in the ones from the 3dview prgoram but I can't overright one of the dlls.
Guess I'll give up.

Try here : http://www.xmission.com/~nate/glut.html and download the file named glut-3.7.6-bin.zip. It should be the latest version. Inside you will find the glut32.dll (for windows). You can forget the other files as they are useful only for development.

I didn't stick to one part of the DB I jumped around adding both new and old stuff and didn't keep track of everything I added.
