I have a mod that allows the XXI to be used from Aug 1939 and am looking for a few testers.

Any volunteers?

I would be happy to beta test your Type XXI mod. I have already had the Type XXI working from 1939 but have so far been unable to get the campaigns to work.... Where can I get it?

Nothing wrong with having options, if you don't like it then don't use it.
But let's stay on topic here, thanks :yep::D

I absolutely 100% agree with you. There is nothing remotely realistic about an XXI in 1939.

Sometimes I go for 100% realism and sometimes I just want to relax for an hour. Each to their own.

I agree that a type XXI is not historically accurate BUT consider this..IF Herr Schickelgruber had'nt considered himself the greatest military tactician since Alexander, perhaps Doenitz would have had his 200 or so subs in 1939, the ME262 probably operational as a fighter not a bomber 2 years earlier and of course taking on Uncle Joe was a serious miscalculation etc etc. So!!!!!!
So the type21 could have appeared earlier...scary isn't it.

I use XXI from the begining of war. I play the game by myself. I think this mod is good option for all users they like XXI and maybe don't know how to use XXI in 1939.:yep: Wreford-Brown. Good Job!

Wreford-Brown Are those on the Nautilus?

Yes they are but there was also a seperate torpedo mod that not only made them nuclear tipped, the torpedoes could travel at a top speed of 100kts! :o

Graf. But still this is only a mod, a option. You don't have to use this mod, if you don't like it.:yep: It's simple. I think that a Wreford Brown's mod is interesting for the persons which like XXI sub.
Is it something bad in that? I don't think so.

I completely agree, evan82. ;)

My post was not meant as a criticism but rather an affirmation that this would be a very fun mod indeed. :yep:

Now where is it, WB? :stare:

Personally I am not a fan XXI in SH3 mods because they created for fun and not for historical realism. Nevertheless, since you like XXI changes - which fail to understand for me, I respect it and said - great job!

Best regards guys!
