After numerous searches I have concluded that I will not be able to find the proper keywords to find what I seek. Too many are 3 letters.
I am looking to add more keys to the command which shows/hides the GUI. This is currently Numpad Delete, but I cannot find the hex code for this key in the commands_en.cfg file. Can someone direct me to how to control this key? Many thanks!

Setkey is the program I use to customize the keys. I don't know where you can download it again but maybe someone has it?

I looked for it also and came to the conclusion it was hard coded. I use a program called MapKeyboard which allows you to move the keys around, especially NUM(.)

SetKeys is still in the subsim patches page at:
http://www.subsim.com/subsim_files/patches2005_sh3.html about half way down the page.

I have setkey, but it does not include this command. Can anyone confirm it is hard coded and cannot be changed/added to?

I haven't tried it, but as stated above use setkeys to add the additional commands to that key. But this will toggle the GUI as well as your additional commands.
